Simple and effective
Style: UB500 Plus
Very nice adapter. Installation was as simple as plugging it into the PC and connecting the devices through Windows settings. Note I didn't need to even install a driver or any third party software to use the adapter, it was taken care of automatically by Windows. I like that it seems to be able to handle multiple Bluetooth devices at once and I haven't noticed any lag or sound issues so far on my headphones or my other devices. The range covers my home. ... show more

Compact, Reliable, and Works Perfectly
Style: UB500 Plus
The TP-Link USB Bluetooth Adapter is exactly what I needed to add Bluetooth capabilities to my desktop PC—and it does the job flawlessly. It's small and unobtrusive, and I don’t even notice it once it’s plugged in. Setup was straightforward and painless. I just inserted it into a USB port, installed the driver from the included CD (or downloaded the latest version online), and within minutes, I was pairing my headphones and phone. The connection has been solid—no dropouts or lag—even when streaming music or transferring files. I was impressed with the signal range too. I can move from one room to another and still maintain a stable connection, which is great for listening to music while walking through my house. Overall, this adapter is affordable, dependable, and very easy to use. If your PC lacks Bluetooth or you want a better connection than onboard solutions, this is a smart upgrade. Highly recommend! ... show more

The bluetooth range is amazing - exactly what I was looking for
Style: UB500 Plus
I am SO happy with this transceiver! I bought it because my Dell Laptop's built-in bluetooth was having trouble getting enough signal when I walked out of the room (just a regular sized home office). I would start getting drop-outs even just 15-20 feet away, with almost line-of sight (the corner of a doorway might just barely be in the way). After installing this TP-Link Bluetooth transceiver, I can walk anywhere inside my home without any dropouts at all. In fact, I was able to walk all the way around the OUTSIDE of my house, and I only had one small and brief drop-out at the very furthest corner of the outside of the house. Installing the driver was no problem - even though I have Win 11 I went ahead and downloaded the official driver from TP Link download site and it installed no problem. The instruction manual says to disable all existing bluetooth devices, but you may only need to disable the existing Wireless Bluetooth controller. You do need to reconnect your bluetooth devices, which may end up creating a second copy of the device, but that should be ok since you will likely keep the existing controller device disabled. The manual also says that it should be plugged into the computer "directly" but after installing and testing my devices, I switched the transceiver to a bluetooth hub and it worked fine. So now it's hidden away and I have incredible range! Best purchase I've made in a long time. ... show more

Easy to use, perfect for my work
Style: UB500 Plus
My PC didn't have Bluetooth when it was built, but this works great to fix that! I use it with my Silhouette Cameo 3. The connection is fantastic, and this was the best deal. You just plug it into a USB and it works.

Works good once it's correctly configured
Style: UB500 Plus
Plug and play, almost. Luckily my work PC allowed it do auto load the driver. However it might be a bit of guesswork to configure the correct audio source. I am using this with a Plantronic Focus headset and Teams. At first it would not connect me to audio correctly. I had to confirm my defaults in both Teams and Zoom to make sure they both were correct. Once that was solved, I like the extended range it gave me. No longer tied to within 10ft of my desk. I can roam around the house and even out on the front porch without my connection dropping. ... show more

So easy a caveman can do it
Style: UB500 Plus
Literally 2 minutes after receiving this package I now have bluetooth on my desktop computer. I plugged it in one of the rear usb ports and it basically installed itself, paired it to my phone and now I can easily transfer files between the phone and the computer. I'm running WIN 10 so it already had the compatible drivers it needed. It transfers files faster than on my laptop with built it BT so latency is reduced. It is small, with an antenna that is capable of reaching further than most bluetooth devices. It seems to be built pretty tough considering it is a dongle. Just how rough can one get with a usb device? I'm so happy that making my my desktop bluetooth capable was so easy and inexpensive. ... show more
