This is a review for the TOZO S2 Smart Watch. I purchased the watch so that I could easily see the time as I ride my bicycle. It was a nice plus that it had added features for heart rate, oxygen level, calorie count, and others. It also has a downloadable app that you load onto your phone that help keeps track of your exercise information and also allows you to receive text messages and control the phone's volume from the watch especially useful when using an earbud while riding the bike. The Pros: Easy to set up. Easy to pair with my phone. Display is bright enough to see in the daylight and is adjustable. The strap is rubbery and comfortable on my wrist. Is light and seems to hold a charge well. It has a find my phone feature that rings your phone which is nice. Note that the Tozo app must be running on the phone for this to work. The cons: The app has to be running all the time for the watch controls (like volume control) to work. To use Alexa features you must enter your Amazon credentials and I don't want to share user name and password info with another company. My biggest problem is that the watch and the app turn themselves on. After closing the app on the phone, I found it had turned itself on a number of times. The same with the watch. I made sure I turned it off in the menu setting and it went to a black screen. I got up in the middle of the night and saw a green light flashing under the watch and found it had turned itself on. This happened on more than one occasion. This is not good as it runs the battery down without you knowing it. I uninstalled the app. It's a good first try but needs refinement. The watch doesn't consistently bring up the messages when they are present on the phone so it's not reliable. You'll get a No Notification message sometimes even though there are messages. In exercise mode after you pause the app and then stop it, it erases the data so you can't look at it to record or evaluate it. With all that being said, I can do what I wanted it for and the other added features are a bit of a bonus. UPDATE 5/22/2023 The watch has been functioning fine since my purchase 1 year ago. I received a notice on their app that there was a firmware update available about a week ago and allowed it to update and install. Immediately after, the watch started to randomly change from the main screen to the Watch Face selection screen then lock up where the touch capabilities were not working correctly. After trying many hard reboots (turning on and off) the watch kept behaving erratically. I sent an email to Tozo support. Aaron quickly responded and suggested I try a reboot from the app. I tried that a few times but it didn't help. He requested I send him a video of what it was doing which I did. He sent me an email back and said they would be sending me a replacement. 2 days later, a box came by US Mail with a new watch in it. I opened it and had my watch read the QR code to set the watch up in the app. It was added to the device list. I then got a notice that there was a firmware update for it. I was reluctant to download and install it, but did. Everything seems to be working correctly now. Their support was great and the replacement was awesome. I have added one star to my review (from 3 to 4) because of the customer support! UPDATE 6/12/2023 After using the watch & app since receiving it, the watch continues to operate OK. The app on the other hand crashes all of the time when using it for the sports tracking features. I will set up an activity such as bike riding. The app counts down and I begin the exercise which usually consists of a10 mile ride. My phone screen goes black while the app is running in the background so I don't know until the end that somewhere along the ride, the app crashed and closed. So any information it might have gathered is gone. On rare occasions, it will stay open and have some data but it is not correct. It may show a few miles but that's it. It never displays SP0 and the heart rate data doesn't correspond. This only started happening after the hardware update. Before that, it didn't crash but every so often. It's never shown the SP0 correctly. So in conclusion, the watch works OK for telling time but the features and app are subpar. ... show more

I bought this watch because I suspected AFIB The watch gave me very interesting readings so long story short I have RBBB. MY cardiologist recommended I buy a Kardia mobile so I could send my EKG readings in to him by email. I must say my TOZO is just as accurate as the KARDIA. I get the exact same reading every time. Now TOZO does not give the actual EKG reading but the heart rate is very accurate. I like having the watch because I can have 24 hr read out on my heart rate and that has been very helpful working out the correct dosage of beta blocker. I went from tachycardia to my resting heart rate of 40. I wouldn’t have known it went this low if I didn’t sleep with the watch on. Halved my dose and now it’s in the 50’s. It really seems dangerous to me to start beta blockers and have no clue what’s going on with your heart during those times you can’t use the KARDIA mobile such as sleeping or hard work. Edit 12/03/22 **** Original review is below, but i wanted to update on the company sending me a new watch. I received the new one watch 11/03/22. I wanted to wait to see how it responded or if it would be a lemon like the first one. Just over a month using the watch and I have no complaints. This watch is very reasonable on price and it works great for my needs. Obviously the normal, it is a watch. It tracks your steps fairly well and measures heartbeat, stress and sleep. You are also able to sync it with your phone and receive messages to the watch. I bought a different watch band for it and a screen cover to make the watch last longer. I took off the wrist twist gesture because I do not need it to turn on at random times while I'm working for no reason. This helps save the battery and I can easily go a week without charging it. With the wrist gesture on it might need a charge every 3-5 days, depending on how often it turns on and off. In closing, I would definitely buy this again and it exceeds my needs for what I wanted. Grade A- for overall.. The initial issues made it a minus but their company made good on sending me a replacement and I like the watch and brand. Original review: After reviewing the rating for this watch I figured I would give it a try. I had bought Tozo earbuds for myself and family in the past and never had any issues. So looking for a smart watch, I would give this a try and support the company. Out of the box, it looks great and it sync's up with your phone very easily. The Tozo app, I think is user friendly and gives you all the necessary information from the app to your wrist and then back quickly. Here's the problem. I had the watch for about 15 days and one morning, I woke up and put in on my wrist and the display screen was failing. I attached pictures showing what it was doing. It appears that something is not connected correctly inside the watch or the screen lcd portion has failed. I immediately contacted customer service via email thru the App. They responded within one business day. After providing the purchase history, Sophia from Tozo(could be just the they list for all service emails) was sending me a new watch free of charge and to keep the damaged watch to avoid any further hassle. That was amazing and awesome customer service. Granted I had to send multiple screenshots of where I bought it, when I bought it and had to give a review hence this long experience. But to continue reviewing the watch, I will give more information. The Battery. After a fully charged watch, it could last 5-8days. If you have the wrist motion turned on the watch wakes up more often and in turn waste more battery life(2-3 days). I have since turned it off and lowered the display brightness to conserve battery. The connectivity of the watch works great. It receives emails, text msg, phone calls. You can change the main screen to a variety of different displays. It has an Alexa feature built in but I have not used yet. The timer appeared to work great along with the alarm, flashlight and stop watch. I am still unsure of the accuracy of the measurements for the heart beat, and stress levels. It appears to be an average but I believe it gives a decent reading. The step counter is what I use the most and I feel it is fairly accurate. I have not received the replacement watch yet. (Says it will take several weeks). Once I receive the newer watch, I am hoping the screen will last alot longer then the first watch. Overall, I currently will give this watch a C-. It works very well but having the screen take a crap so quickly I'm hesitant the newer one will be faulty also. After I receive the replacement and I use the watch for a longer period of time, if the watch holds up then a newer update review will be given and a higher rating will be issued.
