This camera was purchased for a toddler with a tendency to throw her toys or leave them lying around. We wanted something that would take real pictures and stand up to her abuse while she learns to value her things without spending a lot of money. We also needed it to be small enough for her hands. This camera fit the bill! The photo quality isn't great, but most toddlers won't take great pictures anyway, so that's not a big deal. I do wish it went straight to photography mode when turning on instead of going to the menu since that makes it harder for a toddler to use. We have to start it for her every time; she can't just get started on her own. If you want a camera that's going to take good pictures, look elsewhere. This camera is TINY a lot smaller than I expected. My girls love it though. They figured out the settings and can do frames and all that. I wish it didnt have games. Kids are zoned into that stuff anyway, we got the camera for them to be creative, not zombies. I dont understand why games need to be on a camera. Also the video quality sound is horrible. You cant hear anything, it's all messed up like you recorded an underwater robot talking. But the pictures are decent and it seems to be pretty durable with my 2 and 5 year old messing with it for the last 4 months. ... show more

I was looking for a camera for my daughters birthday. I read reviews that it was small but most were children 7/8 years old. I thought, I’m sure it would be perfect for my 4 year old. No. It is tiny even for her. The controls are super complicated. She is figuring it out but for kids it should be more simple. The picture quality is good for the price I guess. It’s made of cheap plastic as well. It has held up for several months but that’s because my daughter rarely uses it. I would expect it wouldn’t last long under heavy use but that probably won’t happen because it is so small and complicated. ... show more
