I was very excited to gift this remote control car to my nephew as it looked like a different take on the classic R/C car. The lights are entertaining and fun for a 7 year old while they master the mechanics of the toy. I was worried that it would not be very durable, but it's capable of withstanding rough play and even the occasional tumble. Things that I don't like too much are that it's a bit small and the batteries are not very practical. The batteries do last a while and will keep them entertained.
