UPDATE/EDIT: After I wrote the following review, the company privately messaged me offering a full refund simply because I noted that the fan wasn't as quiet as advertised. That, my friends, is above-and-beyond customer service and shows that they do want to create and sell a product that will get high reviews. Because of that, I've upped the star rating to 4, knowing that this is a company currently dedicated to creating good products and to maintaining good customer service. Keep up the good work, Abolee, and know that I will positively consider your brand in future purchases. Now, on to my original review: This is a very effective fan for cooling. The speeds allow it to be used in a wide variety of settings, providing an alternative for small bedrooms without ceiling fans while also being effective in larger spaces as needed. The remote works well, and it has a secure holder in the top of the fan -- something that is lacking in some of our other tower fans. At the lower speeds, it does run quietly. But, if you need to use the higher speeds, be prepared for noise. It's not terrible -- in fact, it's rather rhythmic, and it is easy for some members of our family to sleep with it. But, it's more than just the white noise of a high speed fan. There is a mechanical noise from the fan itself as well. So, the quiet is only valid for speeds one or two.
