This is a pretty nice fan. I was actually impressed with the power of this fan. The first thing I will note about this is that it is pretty quiet. On the first level I barely even notice the sound and sometimes forget it is even on. The second level you start to hear it a little bit and the third level is where you will start to have a bit of noise. It is not very loud regardless. I am still able to watch my television without adjust the sound of the television at all. The setup for this fan is pretty simple. All you need to do is just attach the bottom stand. It requires no tools as the screws have handles on them to turn and lock them. The one minor thing I did not like is that the wires do have indents on the bottom for the wires but they do not really hold the wires into place. I tried putting them in the hook but minor shifts cause the wire to just fall out. The digital indicators are nice. There is a temperature gauge on there that tells you what the room temperature is. I do not have another thermometer however it seems to be pretty accurate. Oscillation is pretty nice and quiet. You do not hear anything while it is moving. There are three speeds as well as a "natural" breeze mode. The natural breeze does not seem to do that decent of a job simulation the winds outside but is nice thing to have. I normally just stick to the normal fan speed. The remote is compact and small. It runs on a simple coin battery which probably will last for quite sometime. There is also a small cradle on the top to put the remote in. Note that it is not held by anything but gravity. The remote needs line of sight to turn on and there are six buttons. These buttons are also on the fan themselves. There is a timer function to help save power as well as the fan function to auto turn on when the room reaches 80 degree (Fahrenheit). You cannot adjust the temperature when it turns on from what I can tell. I tried several things and it seems to be set at 80 degrees with no way of changing it. It actually does turn on its own but I actually just like to have full control over it and not leave it on automatic. The fan works great for large or small rooms. The cool air can be felt several feet away and its not warm air. I really feel the cool air even in the hot weather. The grills look pretty easy to clean. I just take a duster and just run it along. I recommend doing this every so often to not let the dust accumulate. The black design makes it look great for any room and it is pretty nicely sized so you can store it after the hot weather. Overall with this summer coming soon. This is definitely one of the best fans I have used that keeps the room cool as well as generate the least amount of noise. Another thing is that it works great for most rooms. The remote I wish did not use a coin battery and that you can adjust the temperature at which the fan turns on but that is okay. The LED lights are not too bright so if you are using this fan at night while sleeping you will not even notice the LED light. ... show more

With work from home, I wanted a fan to help keep my office cooler and was looking for a smaller footprint than the traditional box-style fans, and because of remote meetings, fan noise was a concern too. With a week of use, my thoughts below. As I mention in the headline, it is so close to great. In the plus column: - Good looking with a nice display - Smaller footprint - Reasonably quiet at lowes fan speed - Decent features Where it could be better - The 'auto' feature (on if warmer than 75 degrees, off if less than) is interesting but since you can't adjust the temperate threshold, it is just frustrating. SOME way to adjust this would be fantastic and frankly should be included imho. Where you live and use case - how did they come up with a fixed 75 degrees? (sigh) - Wobbly. It's a tall tower and it wobbles around a fair bit which makes it seem cheap/unstable. This is not unacceptable but noticeable. - Fan noise at higher levels is quite noticeable but in fairness, it does push a lot of air then too. - Remote. It's 'okay' but a few suggestions (again - just to get from good to great). Give it a home(other than in the way of the controls). Either a slot on the fan to put the remote when not in use, or a magnet or something. Also, if I hit one of the settings buttons, maybe have it auto-power on instead of hitting power then selecting my features.. Also, add a temp up/down ;) - Future version thought, how about smart home integration, either let it tap into wifi or have built-in Alexa type features. Again - pie in the sky here but why not. - Price. A bit of a premium for a fan that comes so close. Make the improvements suggested and you have me! So overall a nice unit and I just wish for some refinements to bring it to great. If you (Taotronics) are listening, please know that there is almost a cult following out there for really nice, reliable fans. ... show more
