I am really enjoying these clubs as a first time golfer. i feel they are good quality, and well worth the price. i thought that after i became more proficient as a golfer i would up-grade, but i don't think it will be necessary as these clubs perform perfectly well.

    • They looked used
Clubs seemed very nice, the problem I had with them is they looked like they were used before. Putter had a couple of dings in it, 7 iron had scuff marks across the nose, like it got dragged against something, and the 9 iron has a mark across top of blade. The driver didn't have a plastic sleeve on the shaft like all the other clubs, and none of the woods or hybrids club heads were wrapped. Would it have affected my game? No, but for$600 for new clubs I expect better than what I got. Overall feel was good, driver shaft was a little shorter than normal, which was good for me because I'm 5'7". The driver felt pretty well balanced, not heavy at all, comes with a nice cart bag. I checked the wood heads after reading some people saying the some of the heads flew off when they swung the clubs. Nothing felt loose or hinky. I think maybe some of them hit something other than the ball. The 7 iron looked like it hit something other than the ball. If not for the damage on them I think I would have been very happy with them. I would recommend this set for anyone thinking about getting them, just inspect everything before you use them. That's what I did. If everything checks out good for you, I think you'll be happy with them. I suppose I could have contacted the seller about the damage and see what they could do for me, but I don't think I should have to go through all that when I hadn't even used them yet. If not for the damage and lack of some packaging I would have given them 5 stars. They really are nice clubs. I don't know how that would translate on the course since I didn't get to use them. Value wise, I think they're great for someone with a budget. I don't really have a budget, so I pulled the trigger and got a set of Callaway XR to replace these. ... show more
