As a beginner golfer who was borrowing clubs until I was sure this sport was for me, I cannot say enough of the quality considering the price. I looked at many sets and reviews and decided this was the best purchase as a beginner--all the clubs you need to start out with are there--this IS Callaway's affordable line with great quality--you can buy this set on their website. I am hitting straight more consistently, and love the lightweight bag, with rain cover, numerous side pockets for accessories and rain gear, snacks, etc. as well as outer loops, outer umbrella holder, ease of the stand opening and closing, and the backpack-type harness. For those who might have had an issue with a club, that can happen with any set, especially if you are starting out. Clubs will get a beating by us newbies as well as the pros, but lessons help a great deal. I highly recommend this set. Note that the product description STATES the number of pieces and explains what each piece is, so there is NO misleading information on the number of clubs, etc. that you're getting. I did return this item. Never used them but the quality is definitely there. The reason why I returned is because delivery was very delayed and I ended up getting a golf club set for my girlfriend at a sporting good store instead because I needed the club set quickly. The reason why 4 stars is because amazon handed off the clubs to usps and that's what caused the late delay despite it supposed to be next day or two day shipping, can't remember which one. The clubs were delivered approximately 5-7 days late. If you don't need them right away definitely recommend buying these clubs. They are great for entry level and begginers and the bag is very nice. ... show more

My wife wanted to take up golf, and I wasn't sure how serious she was. I bought this set as a gift because they had great reviews and if she didn't like golf, it wasn't that much of an investment. The clubs are quite impressive, and she has been hitting at a driving range and says they work well. If she decides she likes golf, I will add a club or two and probably invest in a better bag. First of all, the color is pretty! But more importantly the clubs are light weight, easy to swing and very forgiving. My personal favorite is the 5h, just line it up and hit your mark every time!
