- APPEARANCE: The Sideline electric fireplace is designed for recessed in-wall mounting. Creating a cozy atmosphere of a traditional fireplace, this electronic fireplace has realistic flames with a real fire look. The Sidelines 5 flame settings radiate a soft ember glow up to an intense blaze. Sideline gives you the total package. Control the heat and flame with the remote control. Designed to use one log or crystal, if you prefer you can mix both safely.
- INSTALLATION: This Sideline installs simply and can safely be attached to framing studs. The sides & back of the unit remain with the heat feature on. Recommended minimum of 8 of space between the top of the fireplace and your TV, mantel, picture ceiling. The Sideline can be installed in existing fireplace openings safely. Consult with a licensed professional to ensure your unused gas lines and vents are secured properly. The Sideline fireplace is ventless.
- OPERATION: The Sidelines heater will take the edge off a cool room or basement, and it can be run with no heat, just flames in warmer climates. The Sideline comes with a 6-foot power cord for a 110-120V outlet. It is also hard-wire ready for in-wall install. The unit draws a max of 12 amps, so the fireplace can be used on a 15-amp circuit. A 20-amp circuit may be necessary, depending on the use of other electronics on that same electric circuit.
- FEATURES: The Sideline features an unmatched flame. Friends will be nervous to touch realistic flame behind the glass. The Sideline includes faux-fire logs & crystals to create an authentic feel, as well as an IR remote controlling flame color & intensity, the heater and shut-off timer. Front facing heater vents allow you to position the Sideline just 8 under a flat screen TV. The Sideline can be hardwired or plugged in to your electric source.
- WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: 1. We recommend 8 inches of space between your fireplace & TV. 2. The Sideline pulls a max of 12 amps. 3. The fireplaces includes a wall-mount bracket, if you dont recess it. 4. You can install the Sideline in an existing fireplace opening. It stays cool to the touch on the sides & back and is ventless. You can use the Sideline with just the flame and no heat. 5. The heater it will warm up a cool room, but wont replace a primary heat source.

The media could not be loaded. I have the crystals put in these and took out the log. You can have this recessed in the wall or mounted on the wall. If you want to just mount it, you take out the piece on the back and drill your anchors in and screws then place the hooks into the back of the fireplace. There several color combinations that you can choose from. The heat works but I’m in Florida and it’s already hot over here so I didn’t test how long it took to warm up my living room.

This electronic fireplace is outstanding. I had a large stand built to place this electric fireplace unit inside of and it is so gorgeous. It needs to be plug directly into wall outlet. The heat gets very hot and blows straight out of the center vent. The heat blows only when the fireplace flames are on, which is what I like about it. I love the variety of colors you can change the flames and logs. There is a touch panel on the top right side of the unit, but I like using the remote. This electronic fireplace can be set into the wall, mounted on the wall (with included screws) and/or you can have a unit built for this electronic fireplace as I did. It does take two people to install this unit because of the weight and it's a large item. I highly recommend this electronic fireplace because of the outstanding quality, durability and the heat output as well.

This fireplace is all season, and you don't have to use the heating option, but when you do, it's gonna warm you up quickly. Flames can change color to your liking, and you use the wood logs as inside decor or the crystals. It's all included and simple to use. The remote controller is a great addition. You need to install it in the wall opening as it's pretty thick. Installation really doesn't require much wisdom, you just plug it in the outlet but you'll have to prep the wall to place it in. Obviously, cut the drywall, secure the edges, and put the fireplace in. We have cement walls, so things were a little more complicated, but it was doable, and the final result is worth it! Prepare to put some work into unpacking it; inside the fireplace is stuffed with styrofoam to avoid damage during transportation.

This is a stunning piece. Versatile it can be mounted on a wall, built in or used in an existing fireplace. It has a contemporary, sleek style but should blend with most decors. It comes with logs and crystals and five different flame options. The remote is handy. The heater works quite well but you can enjoy the flames without heat. Gorgeous.

This Touchstone Electric Fireplace is well made. The stainless steel finish looks great. It a very versatile fireplace since it can be recessed or mounted on the wall. It is ventless too. Having a remote for a fireplace is a very handy feature. Living in Phoenix, the option to have it on without heat is perfect! Impressed with this fireplace - great addition to my home!
