Adorable safe, it's definitely small, good for small items jewelry etc, the size makes it easier to put somewhere less conspicuous. It has bolts and holes for bolting it down which id definitely recommend because it is super lightweight. It could probably fit a small handgun. I like the electronic pad and it auto locks so there's no accidently not locking it. It has two keys just in case, or emergency opening, they're the round type. Its pretty solid and would be difficult for someone to break into... unlike another safe I had where you could literally pop the rear hinge with a screwdriver... Bonus it's pink definitely a nice little safe for pink lovers. Would get a fire safe pouch for anything you'd want flame protection for. ... show more

I dont know why it asked me to review the water resistance of this safe since it doesnt mention it on the ad, and since the safe is definitely not water resistant. It is good for what it was meant, to keep small important or dangerous stuff away from other people and little kids. Good size to put in a small gun or some emergency cash and keep it safe and away from sight. Easy to use with the key however, you have the option to use a passcode to open it up as well but you will have to install batteries which are not included in this safe. It's small enough that it can be sent on a shelf, dresser or even tucked away hidden under your bed. It's lightweight yet durable, very easy to use, and it comes with 2 keys. And you can also use the keypad for entry if you don't like the idea of just having one way to get into a safe (always have a back up right? lol) that's holding your valuables this is neat lil safe is perfect. What I mean by my headline it that this safe keeps out the honest people, but it would not be at all difficult for someone who really wants to break into it to be successful. But for minor things to keep stored or prevent kids from getting at more sensitive items this would be a decent solution. The keypad requires 3 double a batteries, which i would have preferred something more long lasting like 2 or 3 flat batteries but this will suffice, just not sure how long they will last. It also comes with an emergency battery pack that can be plugged in from the outside, or even just use the keys. The safe is made of painted sturdy sheet metal, which would be the same as putting a combo lock on a sturdy filing cabinet. We had two problems with this item. 1) programing it, we had to keep taking the batteries out and the instruction manual is not clear on locating the reset button and the emergency lock system. 2) the door sticks, we have to use something strong to get the door open once it unlocks. I use it to store money that I want to have instantly. I think it's a good idea to have it separated in a safe. I use it as a small personal safe. I like how the digital code works so I don’t always have to have the key. Works perfectly and is durable enough. It isn’t super thick steel like you’d find in a super expensive safe but for the price it’s more than enough. Nothings going to get in without that shouldn’t without destroying the safe entirely.
