The rug is soft and beautiful but it’s so lightweight I can’t vacuum with my Dyson or Shark stick vacuum, I even bought an attachment for my Dyson but it still pulled it up, only using a stick attachment or my roomba can go over it.

I purchased a similar sized rug a couple of years ago for about 3 times the price for my office, and that was on sale. But it is not as soft, thick, and flexible as this Moroccan style rug. This one is extremely comfortable to walk, sit, or even lay, on. The design is funky chic that appears to be printed pattern, not woven. After my son moved into a dorm, we decided he needed this for the bare floor and to help dampen sound in his room. Also, once we realized this is machine washable, it made the decision easier even if he has a few spills. After a few weeks, the folded creases completely faded. Since it can be folded, and doesn't require rolling, it is a bit easier to transport. The backing is non-slip, so the rug stay put and the ends/corners do not curl up or under.

I have washable rugs that I absolutely love and this is not one of them. The way the pattern is just makes it more modern without the details on the edges that would balance it out. It's just kind of sewn/thrown together.
