A GREAT throne!
Style: Modern Size: 1.28 GPF Configuration: Universal Height
Toto Drake Transitional Universal Height Toilet offers flawless flushing with a swirl of water pre-wetting their proprietary surface which truly cuts down on frequency of cleaning needed. It is also easier to clean as there is no extensive lip on the bowl to work around. The “Transitional” tank is actually low flush at 1.28 gallons & it is universal height -higher than “standard “ height & my son installed it using directions & you tube videos. I would recommend purchase ! ... show more

Buy it
Style: Modern Size: 1.28 GPF Configuration: Standard Height
Really great toilet: quick flush with minimal water, has never plugged, just plain solid. Super impressed with the toilet. Buy it. We added Toto's Washlet bidet to it. Couldn't be better. We are buying a second one. However, one caution. Amazon needs to package it better. Two times out of three, the base was damaged by UPS and wasn't delivered. For shipping porcelain, although Toto's factory box is ok, it needs stronger outer boxing and padding by Amazon. ... show more

Unstoppable
Style: Modern Size: 1.28 GPF Configuration: Universal Height
When I was in Switzerland last year I was astounded by the bathroom plumbing, and swore that my next toilet would be from Switzerland. This toilet is just like them, it's the best. It's crazy how little water it uses and still passes loads that will plug other units.

Secure packing, good quality
Style: Modern Size: 1.28 GPF Configuration: Standard Height
I received this in excellent condition and in very secure packing materials. The toilet works well with an elongated washlet. The only thing to note is that without any adjustments to the factory settings, I have to hold the flush lever to get a full flush. Just flipping quickly it will give you a very small flush. This may be by design, but I can't find any documentation to confirm this. ... show more

The handle is DESIGNED to be pulled UP, not pushed down!
Style: Modern Size: 1.28 GPF Configuration: Standard Height
Poor packing equates to broken toilet. Had to reorder this toilet 3 times because each time it arrived, the bowl was shattered. Amazon return was great, but it was a bother as we were remodeling two bathrooms at the time. The other questionable issue with this model is that the flush handle must be pulled UP, not pushed down. I thought the contractor had put the handle in backwards and attempted to fix the issue, but I could not. Called TOTO hotline and was informed that this model is designed to have the handle pulled up. Disconcerting to say the least, as I have never, in my 69 years used a toilet with a flush handle that pulls up! Otherwise, we love the toilet's "TORNADO FLUSH" feature. ... show more

Toto toilets are great but don't order them from Amazon.
Style: Modern Size: 1.28 GPF Configuration: Standard Height
Amazon delivered the tanks but not the bottoms and are refusing to replace them. I wasted hours on the phone with their customer service people who are obviously outsourced in India. It has been a very frustrating experience.

Highly recommend
Style: Modern Size: 1.28 GPF Configuration: Universal Height
Toto is the way to go... (no pun intended) This toilet is awesome! The coating on the inside of the toilet keeps things from sticking making it easy to clean. The tornado flush is Powerful! You'll save water because you wont have to flush multiple times to get waste to go down. Its quiet and made well. I doubt I'll ever need a plunger. Smaller profile leave more open space in the bathroom which is great especially if your bathroom is smaller in size. Arrived in pristine condition and fast delivery. Highly recommend. ... show more

Excellent toilet
Style: Modern Size: 1.28 GPF Configuration: Universal Height
I bought two of this model toilet. One is a 1.6 gpf the other is a 1.28 gpf. This has to do with how much of a sewer line run. They were easy to install for me. The tank has bolts that are secured to the tank before attaching to the bowl. One unit had a weeping tank. I contacted Toto, explained the issue, supplied some documentation and some pictures. After some back and forth and checking my installation the tech said he be sending me a replacement tank. It arrived within a week. Thanks Toto. Bowl is supposed to be less stick resistant. I’m not convinced. Fun to watch flush. ... show more
