This muffler/resonator will not be installed in my '99 Infiniti G20 until April 6th 2021. I will write a review on the functional performance after that date. This is just an initial review upon unboxing: To be honest, for the price I was somewhat expecting to receive a very low quality product. I purchased free of worry to inspect in-person because of the free returns. I have to say that I am rightfully surprised by the quality of the materials and welds. You would be hard-pressed to find any other product that compares to this for the price and that's not to mention that Totalflow was one of the very few companies that even offered a product in the exact specs I was looking for to achieve a custom fitment. Their product line is actually very extensive and their rockwool and stainless steel mesh muffler packing materials are higher quality (on paper, as I have not installed and driven yet) than most of the similar options. Seems that they make comparable products to any of the big name manufacturers budget lines for a little less money. Only complaint I could possibly think of is that the included stickers are of very low quality and there was a tiny little ding near the center of the body, but on the seam side so it will be hidden and there is virtually no chance of even a larger dent having much effect on an absorption style muffler. I would expect to see similar or worse handling marks from the manufacturer on anything near this price-range. It's nothing that doesn't warrant five stars, especially for the level of customization possible due to their extensive choice of sizes and styles of exhaust components. The big embossed logo looks nice too! As for the stickers, the black and yellow scheme is great, but one high quality sticker would be more likely to advertise the Totalflow brand on someone's car, than 4 poor quality stickers that no one wants on their car. ... show more

I used this in front of a straight through muffler that was obnoxiously loud. It mellowed out the sound at full throttle and the idle sound is awesome now. Toyota 22r engine.

I used these to replace the factory catalytic converters. I had them deleted from my PCM so the CEL doesn't come on anymore and had the entire system professionally tuned on a dyno. These really fit the bill perfectly and the ID of both ends is 3". It's like a mini me cherry bomb but with a different packing that doesn't break up and rattle all over the place. Thumbs up. Great welds and simple construction make it a cost effective version of a high dollar competitor that you only pay through the nose for the name. ... show more
