The media could not be loaded. This blender is asthetically very pretty! It has LED lights that change color and light up when it needs to be charged, see photo. Couple negatives: I haven’t used it much since I had some trouble getting it to hold a charge. Also, it only holds one serving and doesn’t seem to operate well when there is too much food in the blender. Still use it occasionally when I want a quick light smoothie on-the-go!

I just love this blender it’s easy to use and tell you when it’s done blending and even lets you know on the charge cuz of its green lights that come on and mostly cuz I can just take it with me on the go

The media could not be loaded. I travel for work so I've been looking for a portable blender that I can easily pack in my carry ons and use for cheap smoothies at the hotel or for lunches. This is incredibly close to what I was hoping for, but sadly it is going to have to stay home. It is still great for making smoothies "on the go" or even just kicking back at home because you don't have to use the full size blender, but you still have to work to get what you want. So, let me start with the positives. It is definitely portable, but not compact. It definitely has the speed and can blend frozen ingredients (more on this in a moment), and surprisingly it is easy to clean (almost). Now for the less than great, but still okay features. When you blend, you have to insure you have enough liquid, this is true for the majority of blenders that aren't food processors, so that's okay. But, you also have to start the blending with the solids away from the blades, and then tilt it up to bring them down and in contact with the blades. The motor itself, while fast, just doesn't have the torque to push through the solids - the drink in my photos had small chunks of pineapple at the bottom next to the blades, and the blades still hung up on pineapple. Not a great start. But once I figured out the trick of tilting it down and then up when it started, it was able to make pretty good progress through the ingredients. That said, I had to run it three times to finish blending. So, this isn't a fast blender, and you have to plan on it taking several minutes, but honestly, even the big blenders can take that long. There's just more "fiddling" with this particular device. The end result of my first run was a completely blended smoothie, but it was on the thick side, so drinking directly from the pour spout wasn't going to work for me, but it was easily handled with a straw. Once I was finished, I followed what was mentioned in the instructions and immediately cleaned it. I can tell just from the few minutes that it sat after I finished, that this thing could easily get stained (at least the white one). I had rather acidic ingredients and that red color lingered just a little too long when I washed the pieces. You will definitely want to at least rinse this out as soon as you are done. As for the battery life, I started with two red LEDs, and it burned through 6 more just in that one drink (3 cycles of the blender). So, that means that you are likely looking at running it 6 times before you need to charge it again. Not great, but not awful either. Related to this, the charging cable is way too short. Just like most rechargeable devices these days, they supply this foot long cable that isn't going to limit your placement options when charging, so you'll likely need to use a longer cable. One thing that really stood out for me is that there is some potential for liquid to touch the magnet embedded in the plastic. As you can see it is not sealed completely, and I noticed that liquid was able to seep past the threads but was stopped by the rubber seal. The magnet sits on that rubber seal as well. I don't know what metal it is made of, but I'm not a fan of metal potentially leaching into my food especially given that smoothies often have a fair amount of acidic ingredients. In the end, I can recommend this under the right circumstances for the individual that is fine with what I mentioned above. The need to fool with the tilting and such, is a little off-putting and the battery life isn't that great (but I appreciate how much power that motor has be using), but acceptable. And the cleanup is easy, as long as you are on top of it right away. Because of those little things, I'm leaving my rating right in the middle. For me, I will be continuing to use it now that I understand the little quirks, but it will only be used while I'm at home.

I was very excited to try this device out. My girlfriend loves smoothies, so I got this so that she could make her own smoothies on the go and the device doubled as a portable cup. Well, the cup isn't insulated so the first time she made a smoothie it was more like soup by the time she got to work. This device also had a very hard time blending her smoothie ingredients. It struggled, even when she continued to add a lot of liquid to the smoothies (it was about 70% liquid and still struggled to blend). The motor burnt out after a few uses. The only nice features were the changing colors and portability of the product, but when it barely works to begin with and stops working after just a few uses, that really doesn't matter much. Cleaning was pretty straightforward, although soap started coming out of the charging port when cleaning as instructed which we figured couldn't be a good sign. It also took over a month for me to receive, but I do not fault the manufacturer for that - more of an Amazon issue. Overall, I do not recommend this product.
