These are the phones that I get for my children. There's no way a child should have anything more expensive. They work fine and when they break it's no big deal. Children are not responsible enough to be having all these expensive phones. I would not buy this phone for myself because it's a little bit on the slow side as far as processing goes but that's not necessarily a bad thing If you're trying to keep your kids off the damn phone all day. If you want a better phone for yourself I recommend the Moto G power. It's a few more dollars but it's a way better phone. This gets a five-star review because of the price for what you get. It works fine. Just make sure you don't have too many applications running at the same time because it doesn't have the ram. It doesn't have a super good processor. ... show more

    • This is a TRACFONE using Verizon network!!!

THIS IS A TRACFONE! Nowhere on the Amazon listing for this phone does it specify that this is a Tracfone using Verizon Network!! We have had nothing but trouble with this phone from the get go. It would lose signal, lose internet connection just by going into a different room in the house, & the call quality is not as good as our Regular Verizon Prepaid Phone plans. I asked in a phone call & chat conversation, about unlocking it, and was told that that you can only unlock it to switch to Verizon prepaid plan after 60 days of uninterrupted service after activating it. It would not let me transfer my old phone number because of some kind of glitch. When we lost our power because of stormy weather, it would lose phone signal & go to EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY MODE & not reconnect to our wireless router not matter what we did. So I ended up doing a chat on 3 different occasions to restore service. I ended having to return to factory settings & restarting the phone to get it to reconnect to the Verizon network & our wireless router. My 60 days is up on June 1, 2023, & you CAN BET I WILL BE UNLOCKING this TONE & SWITCHING TO VERIZON PREPAID even though it is a more expensive plan because of dependability of service. ... show more

its only a 4g and i live deep in the country so im glad i have internet otherwise phone wouldnt work. With this being said if your in the city lines it works very well. Loud speaker for ring tones and notifications and i use this with blue tooth and it works very well. The ear piece however I dont care for trying to hear folks on the phone is tough unless you put it on speaker phone and Im not one of those folks who go around everywhere for all to hear my conversation that i am having with someone. So i keep speaker off and use the phone up to my ear and so its not loud or very big for your ear. ... show more

The phone itself is in perfect condition. The battery life seems good. The problem is I think it was previously owned or somebody oops. They sent a sim card with it that is not compatible. It is locked through total by Verizon which is completely different than Verizon prepaid wireless. And all customer support has been non helpful. When I open the completely sealed package the SIM card was already in the cell phone. When the screen opens for the first time, the phone even says the SIM is incompatible. ... show more

If you want a phone with a great battery life and function but don't want to spend hundreds, this is definitely a great option. I've been purchasing new ones of this same model every time I manage to have another accident that results in me breaking my phone lol. Though, it is durable, I'm just super clumsy lol. It's a great dupe for a Samsung. My only disappointment is with the camera, it functions well enough for decent photos, but not as good as most higher end phones, which makes sense due to the price, gotta be something to make it cost this much.
