Unfortunately the sizing I received was not wide enough to apply to any of my windows, however they do have wider sizing available, and I DO recommend this product. I decided to do other stuff with this, as I just didn't want to deal with needing to cut and line up different pieces on my windows. So... I applied the to some old glass vases that I had as well as the glass front of a few picture frames. That's how much I love this pattern! It's even prettier in person. It's very easy to work with. I followed the instructions, cleaning the surface with Johnsons baby soap. I'm not sure why that's listed, but I did not want to risk using regular dish soap. This is my first experience with this stuff, so I'm not sure if regular soap makes a difference. I use what was recommended. Cleaned the surface to be applied to, then sprayed both the surface and the back of this film, and applied. It is movable, so you can slide it around and into place. I was able to cut different areas to fit around the glasses. It was a really good experience tbh. Being a first time user of this I can say I like how this stuff works and absolutely LOVE how it looks. I'm gonna try to come back and post pics when I'm home. I've got two very pretty pictures and two big glass vases that I covered with the stuff. I'm also planning to attempt to cover the top of my stainless steel garbage pail to prevent scratches on the pail and to add some flare. 😊 I very much like the fact that I can remove this stuff and even reuse it. ... show more

I have used several different window films in the past, and this ranks highly among the ones I have tried. As some reviewers mentioned, it was a smidge too narrow for my windows - but just check your size prior to ordering. The film included good instructions - and, to my surprise, there was a small spray bottle and plastic smoother inside the roll. I didn’t use these, since I had already loaded a spray bottle and grabbed a credit card for smoothing. This was easy to apply and a good thickness. The subtle pattern on the black is nice. I found it easy to smooth and without bubbling issues that I have sometimes experienced with other films. I also loved that I could gently slide it to reposition for several minutes after application. I used Dawn dish soap instead of shampoo, and it worked great. My ONLY complaint is that this comes with a clear backing to peel off. It made it difficult to measure and cut straight lines - since I had no success finding something that would successfully mark a line. It would be an enormous improvement to have had the backing a white grid-type paper with marking and measurements. Other than that, I am very pleased! ... show more

I not only love the pattern on this but it is really dark just like I needed. It is a bit on the narrow side so be precise with your cuts in order to line this up as if your particular window is wide you will need to lay 2 separate pieces side by side. It worked fine for me. Like that a spray bottle is included but it's def to small. They key to making sure you position well is your water/soap solution. The wetter the better it will be for repositioning. A good smooth application for me. Used a old credit card & a microfiber towel for the excessive water & perfectly done. ... show more

Easy to use and place. Really darkened the window. We live in a hot summer place, averages about 103 easily. The blackout curtains are bulky and heavy, these provide same darkness without all the mess. Lots of water was the key to making an easy placement. Will be ordering more.
