It was easy to hang 3/4 up the windows so that no one could see in yet the light came through above and through it.     • Good product but difficult to separate film

The film itself is good quality and the instruction is clear. I like the backing of the film has grid lines to make it easy for cutting. It took about 5 minutes for the installation by one person if you take accurate measurement and spray enough water on the glass surface and the film. However, peeling the film off is super painful, took 15+ minutes if lucky. I have used scotch tape per the FAQ and even tried packaging tape and still very difficult to pull the film apart. So peeling the film is the most time consuming part. Hence taking 1 star away. Installing the film is very easy and you can easily take the film off and adjust if you make a mistake since it only uses water as the adhesive. I used a squeegee to smooth out all the bubbles and wipe over the surface with a paper towel to ensure no bubbles or dry spot. ... show more

The film was delightfully strong and applied without issues. I found the mirror finish to work very well from the outside. Even when lights are on inside, rendering almost all mirror mylar films transparent this blocked the view well from outside. Light does show through as expected of course, but dimmer than other films I've used. Only downside is that I chose a very dark tint, and when looking outdoors find the window is too dark for my liking. NOT a defect in any way. I just selected too dark of a tint for my application.     • Disappointing Experience with rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film

My recent encounter with the rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film left much to be desired, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product to others seeking window tinting solutions for their homes. First and foremost, the supposed "one-way" feature of the film fell short of expectations. Despite the product description promising privacy from the outside while maintaining visibility from the inside, the reality was far from it. Passersby and neighbors could easily see into the house, compromising the privacy of those inside. Furthermore, while the film claimed to block UV rays and control heat, its effectiveness in doing so was questionable at best. After applying the film to several windows in my home, I noticed little to no difference in temperature or UV protection. On hot, sunny days, the rooms still became uncomfortably warm, and the glare from the sun remained a constant nuisance. The installation process was another source of frustration. Despite following the instructions meticulously, I encountered numerous difficulties in applying the film to the windows. Air bubbles and wrinkles persisted even after multiple attempts to smooth them out, resulting in an unsightly and uneven appearance that detracted from the overall aesthetic of the windows. To make matters worse, the adhesive used in the film left behind a sticky residue on the windows, making them difficult to clean and maintain. Despite my efforts to remove the residue using various cleaning agents, it stubbornly clung to the glass, leaving an unappealing and unsightly finish. Overall, my experience with the rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film was thoroughly disappointing. From its lackluster privacy features to its ineffective UV-blocking and heat control properties, the product failed to deliver on its promises. Coupled with the challenging installation process and the lingering residue left behind, it was an overall frustrating and unsatisfactory purchase. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend the rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film to others in search of an effective and reliable window tinting solution for their homes. Save yourself the time, effort, and disappointment, and explore alternative options that deliver on their claims and provide a superior user experience. ... show more

    • Finally peace in the house!!

Update: After having this a short time it became apparent that without tape on the top edge this product will fall off the glass. I used it on my patio doors and although it rarely sees direct sunshine it has been pretty warm here in Texas, my best guess is it’s drying the moisture layer between glass and film causing a lack of adhesion. Using tape along the top edge keeps it from peeling off but looks tacky which is the reason I took away 2 stars. Our neighbors driveway traffic used to set one of the dogs off igniting the rest of them to join in, this went on all day & night. It’s been 24 hours since I put these bad boys up and there’s been silence. They are high enough my lying dogs can’t see out unless something comes close. An additional bonus is the film prevents my outside feral cats from coming up the steps and looking in for a handout- this also triggered an uprising. There are a breeze to install or re-adjust, the hardest thing was separating the protective sheet from the film. Bravo! ... show more

    • Excellent for Complete Black-Out

My boyfriend went to 3rd shift so needed the bedroom to be completely blacked out during the day so he could sleep. Tried black-out curtains, but they barely made a dent in the brightness. Does not help that our bedroom window faces the sun from dawn until at least late afternoon. Anyway, installed these window clings & it is unbelievably dark in the room now. It is an amazing product! Very difficult to install with a consistent finish. If you follow the instructions and spray water on the film and the window you will end up with a very inconsistent appearance. I ended up applying without water and it looked much better, but i lost about half the roll hoping the "water spots" would dry up. ... show more
