I'm very happy with this bag! It adequately protects my clarinet when I want to pause for breaks between practice sessions, but don't want to break down and reassemble my clarinet each time. It's amply padded, VERY well made, has a nice-sized pocket for reeds, swabs, and other small accessories, and has double handles and a shoulder strap. The only thing I didn't quite understand at first was why the shoulder strap is placed in such a way that it turns the bag sideways when you put the strap over your shoulder and the clarinet hanging under your arm. but then I realized it's an instrument case, not a purse, and it's meant to be worn with the strap across the front of your shoulder and the bag across your back, in which case the strap is perfectly placed.

I ordered this padded instrument bag to hold rain sticks and drum beaters. I have many long percussion instruments that need padded protection, but such bags are not easy to find. Ordered this bag because I knew it would work for me and it is a good looking bag. This bag is even more impressive in person. The workmanship is supreme. I like the brown and black contrast too. Rivets are used to hold all of the reinforcements to the bag, such as handles, bottom of the zipper, etc. It also has a handy front pocket, so I can transport shakers and other small percussion items. I played clarinet years ago and would have loved transporting it in this bag instead of the heavy case. The shoulder strap makes this really easy to carry. This is a great instrument bag and it is highly recommended especially at this price point!
