  • Excellent Microwave Of All Time! Review Updated!
Size: Sensor-2.2 Cu Ft-1200W-Stainless Steel
The microwave is nice and large. It works like a champ for all things microwavy. There was a surprising claim and a dedicated button on the control panel that says "Frozen Pizza" and the manual even shows to place the frozen pizza directly on the glass turntable, up to 16 inches. Knowing what I do of physics, my doubt meter was clicking. I got a frozen pizza. I placed it as suggested and used the Frozen Pizza option, which displayed the Sensor Cooking feature as well was activated. This is the ONLY feature that fails. The toppings were cooked perfectly. The crust? A floppy flimsy uncooked mess that wanted to roll up like a cheap newspaper. Everything works as suggested except for that ONE thing, the frozen pizza button is a bust. Do not use that button with a real live frozen pizza unless you are intending to make a mess. That is why it earned 3 stars instead of 5. It got my pizza loving hopes up, and it murdered a perfectly innocent pizza in a most terrible manner. Veggies, taters, everything else, popcorn buttons and their bag sizes. all worked flawlessly. Like stated, if it's for the microwave, you're good. RIP frozen pizzas. It was a nice idea, but dough doesn't cook right in the microwave particles. *Upon Edit on 9/29/25* Nearly a year later, a few things dawned on me that told me to come here and re-do my 3 star to a well deserved 5 star review and here is why! First and foremost, the frozen pizza issue. I mistook the concept for an 'unbaked' frozen pizza. This is not the frozen pizza they were talking about. It's about an already cooked frozen pizza from the freezer, saved from a previous meal. The baked dough is defrosted but the toppings get the cook up and is done perfectly. Why this matters? Regular microwaves tend to keep cooking already baked frozen bread, and makes it rock hard. We know how microwaves do this to bread products. Reheat a cold muffin, the moment it cools off to being edible, it hardens into a hockey puck. This microwave will not do that. Second thing I noticed and it took a bit. The turntable sensor technology is truly OUTSTANDING! How so? Put a bowl, plate or cup on the turntable that is not perfectly centered. It turns while cooking or reheating, no matter the setting, when the timer finishes, the turntable keeps going until the food is at its closest to the front door so it's easier to remove. That is truly awesome! As I am in a wheelchair, not having to lean forward an inch more to reach the heated plate/bowl/cup because it is right there in the front and closest to you is a thing of true dedication to service! NICE WORK, TOSHIBA! So from 3 to 5 stars and it's well earned. I love this microwave and if you do not buy it, you are missing out! Worth every penny I spent! ... show more

  • Excellent microwave
Size: Sensor-2.2 Cu Ft-1200W-Stainless Steel
This Toshiba microwave is exactly what I needed. It's compact enough to fit perfectly on my small kitchen counter, but still powerful enough to heat food quickly and evenly. The six auto menus are super convenient. I use the popcorn and reheat settings all the time and they work flawlessly. The design looks sleek and modern with the black stainless finish and the control panel is easy to read and use. It's also surprisingly quiet compared to other small microwaves I have owned. Whether I am heating leftovers, defrosting meat or making a quick snack it handles everything without a problem for its size performance and price. This is a fantastic little microwave. Highly recommended for apartments dorms or anyone short on counter space. Lili K. ... show more

  • Nice big microwave
Size: Sensor-2.2 Cu Ft-1200W-Stainless Steel
The media could not be loaded. I am very happy with this microwave. It seems to cook very well actually a little bit better than my last one did. It seems to be heating things equally instead of heating just on the bottom. I love that. It has additional beeps when it ends so if you don’t get to it on the first beep, you have a second beep and the third beep. I have used the defrost mode and it worked excellent. The sensor reheat I found cooks it a little bit long. It is nice and big, which is what I was wanting. My last one was a large one. I do a lot of cooking in my microwave so I needed a big one. All in all I really like this microwave. ... show more

  • Large interior space
Size: Sensor-2.2 Cu Ft-1200W-Stainless Steel
This is a large capacity microwave oven. Plenty of room inside for large dishes. Runs very quietly and seems to heat quite quickly. we have had to back down the cooking time for several items that we use quite often. The controls are not particularly user friendly and somewhat difficult to use. The touch pad is not very sensitive and sometimes requires more than one push to activate a function. The user button to change from the auto timer is very small and difficult to use but it works. The same goes for the power level button. The procedure to use the power level button requires that you change from the auto cook timer to the manual timer and then attempt to hit the power level button to change it. Overall it works reasonably well and eventually we will get used to the touch pad. Will I buy another one?? Probably not. ... show more

  • This microwave is large inside, easy to use, and not annoying.
Size: Sensor-2.2 Cu Ft-1200W-Stainless Steel
I think that Toshiba listened to their customers about the little annoying things in earlier models - things that don't affect the oven's performance, but could be a little better. Now, the turntable ends in the same position as when the cooking started if you let it finish its time. And the safety latch at the top of the door handle - I didn't know how I would like it, but it's very natural, and makes opening the door really smooth and easy. Throw in the excellent price, large interior, and the one-touch buttons up to 6 minutes, and this oven is a real winner. Oh, and the timer beeps stop as soon as you open the door. Love it! ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!
Size: Sensor-2.2 Cu Ft-1200W-Stainless Steel
DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE! It only lasted 3 months before it basically blew up. It was only 1 month past the Amazon return-by date, so I guess I'm out of more than $200.00. It was not heavily used and it definitely was not user error and was operated under normal parameters. We were heating up a bag of microwavable popcorn when sparks started to erupt and smoke started to come out of the appliance. This microwave is probably a fire hazard and I won't be buying a Toshiba again. BUYER BEWARE!!! ... show more
