Remodeling my kitchen has been a challenge! Last year I got new matching appliances in black stainless, but not a sink. Finally decided on a cabinet style, color and installer, and still had a problem with the sink. The local big box store did not have the size I wanted in black stainless - then when I read its reviews, I was glad I had not been able to order one. No customer service. A friend recommended to search Amazon. I did find a very similar sink (different brand) but when received, it was too large for the counter (front to back). Amazon arranged a return, and I ordered this one which was 3 inches less from front to back 30 x 18 instead of 30 x 21. The customer reviews on this Torva sink were all positive except for the logo on the sink which I also find unnecessary. The finish matches my black stainless perfectly, and it has a grate with rubber feet to protect the bottom of the sink. It also has a matching drain and basket. The installer did use their own brackets to attach to the stone countertop, not the ones that came enclosed. Their preference since I did not see any difference. My counters are light grey stone, and the sink really stands out. The only issue I can see at this point (a month into installation) is to be sure the hole for your undermount is large enough to accommodate the sink grate. I could have used another 1/4 to 1/2 inch. This was my fault for not telling the installer about the grate when he made the template for the stone counters. All in all, it really makes the area into a custom kitchen at an affordable price.

We just redid our entire kitchen and this is my husbands favorite part! The sink! It looks gorgeous! Our construction team installed it with no difficulty. It was a great price and is high quality. No issues with scratching and it’s easy to clean.

We have had this installed about a week so far it seems to be a great sink , heavy duty construction, the finish is great so far, time will tell how it holds up but it seems to be a great sink,they installed it when they did our granite it was easy to install , it’s a very big sink and is just great overall……EDIT… it is now 9-7-21 and the sink has started getting spots on it that we cannot hardly get off and by the time you do get the spots off the sink is scratched and the coating is coming off …. Very very disappointed now I have to get it replaced I guess unless someone can tell me how to fix it it’s almost like the coating on bottom has came off I don’t know but don’t waste your money on this edit again 5/30/23…. I contacted torva about the sink and they did send sone rubber feet for the bottom grid which they said was causing the rust spots , I originally wanted a replacement sink but after thinking about it I don’t want to replace it with one that might do the same thing so anyway I talked to sunshine there and she was very helpful and nice and like I said sent us the new rubber feet and a small refund to purchase sone special cleaning stuff they recommend , so in the end I’m not happy about the sink but I am pleased that they were very helpful and willing to make it right

Forgive my ugly blue primed backsplash area....but this sink is gorgeous. I'm actually very pleased it is not coal black as it would have clashed with my counter and true black faucet (not bronze). As far as scratches, I am being careful to not use steel wool to clean it and it still cleans up beautifully. No scratches and it's been in for over 6 months. The only negatives: It is under mount and has a huge grate on the bottom. I have 2 negatives and not sure it is "the sink's fault/design" or the people that installed it. The bottom could be an 8th of an inch pitched towards the drain. The sink is so level the water needs a little help being pushed towards the drain. (I believe that is an install problem) It is NOT that bad and am figuring it out. (This is my first time with a sink of this size.) Secondly, The grate is there for protection but to really clean the sink, it needs to be taken out each time. Not really a problem, just an extra step I had not anticipated. (And I am lazy.) Overall, love thus sink, it is a a dark gun metal and just beautiful.

The sink is stunning against a white counter. The grid is nice protection. My biggest complaint is the draining and clean up. It would be incredibly helpful if the bottom was sloped a bit more, have to remove grate and squeegee the sink to clean or use a significant amount of water and fill cups and splash against side.

The color matches very well with Samsung’s black stainless steel appliances. I initially wanted 32” sink but it would have reduced the space of countertop on island. But now that I have installed and used it for 3 weeks, I have to say that I’m very happy with the 30” wide sink. The sink is deep but at the same time it has allowed me to installed garbage disposal. I could not use the strainer. I had to buy a black rink for the garbage disposal from Lowes. The sink does have good slope where the water drains to the center fairly well. I will recommend the product.

We haven’t actually used it yet, but so far this sink is beautiful! We installed as a drop-in rather than undermount, due to needing to cut a bigger hole in our quartz countertop. It works like a charm as a drop in!
