Crafted from your choice of solid wood right here in the USA. Your choice of thick, hearty hardwoods: Cherry with medium cherry stain, lush Mahogany, lighter White Maple, honey-yellow Oak with its unique woodgrains, Rosewood (which is Walnut with a Rosewood stain), or solid dark Walnut wood. Personalization is included, three brief lines of text laser engraved into the front surface of the wood urn. Engraving can include name, dates, and brief note about service or "In Loving Memory" inscription. Military service emblems are available for the following branches: Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and Navy. This military cremation urn holds up to 200 cubic inches of cremated ashes (roughly equivalent to the ashes of a person who weighed up to 200 lbs). The outside dimensions of this wood urn measure 7½" wide, 6¾" deep, 8¼" high. The inside is accessed through the bottom panel, which attaches using standard screws. Losing a loved one is never easy, but this is a great way to honor their service. My Father was a proud Marine. We ordered this for his funeral and my Mom is very impressed. It was shipped quickly and is of very high quality. I am sure the other branches of service as just as nice. Although cost was really not a concern during a loss, this was still much cheaper than the plain option from the Funeral Home. Whoever is managing / selling these are doing a great job. This urn was delivered in 7 days from ordering. We did pay for expedited shipping. Upon arrival the urn was beautiful! However in the difficult time we were experiencing with the loss of our loved one, WE ordered the urn with the incorrect badge.
