First off the facet and the facet knob leaks until you put plumbers putty around it. Second the knob is hard to turn and when your hand gets wet it’s even harder to turn on and off. You have to turn the water on full blast for the hot water and you cannot turn the hot water down. It’s either on full blast or not at all. Good sink, well thought out shelf. I modified a PVC chopping board to fit the shelf and absolutely love the combo function (I discarded the wooden one they sent. Cut on the chopping board, rinse/wash with waterfall. The finish on the sink is what you'd expect for this price point, nothing some edge sanding and polishing can't fix though. The big con is the faucet .. kind of of it. The knob control is annoying for 3 reasons. 1. It's hard to turn with wet hands, 2. When you do try you get water on the knob shelf that you'll later have to wipe down 3. There's no way to get a gentle flow of hot water. It basically has to be on full blast. 4 (I lied there's 4) the supply lines severely limit the flow due to being so thin, filling the sink with a decent amount of water takes ages.. If I could replace the faucet to a handle type I would in a heartbeat but I do like the waterfall for chopping board cleaning! It's like a 3.5 star rating from me. ... show more

    • Water faucet dial is a bad design.

Glad we found this size sink to fit the counter in our mobile home. Ours came slightly warped, but my husband put silicone down and weighted each corner with big buckets of water and it has stayed put. I like the depth of the sink. And it is impressive looking. Especially in a mobile home. The thing that drives me crazy several times a day is the way the hot water comes out of the faucet. You turn the dial to the left past the cold water coming out softly and then past that to the cold water coming out rapidly and then past that to the hot water absolutely blasting out and flying everywhere. There is no way to get a small amount of hot water coming out of the faucet. And since the faucet and the dial are one component I don't see how that can be changed out. The waterfall feature is pretty, but has the same issue with the hot water. And I never use the waterfall for anything anyway. I have to keep a microfiber towel handy to wipe off the sink constantly because of the water splashing everywhere and leaving spots. I actually hesitate to do something as simple as rinsing out a coffee cup because I don't want to mess up the sink and counter that I just had to wipe down. ... show more

I wrote a review of this item and gave it a 4 *. Now I am changing it to 2. It is a good looking piece in my kitchen, but from the beginning we had an "issue" with the faucet's handle. It is becoming disturbingly annoying. The engravings on the handle are so small that I cannot grab on it- especially when my hands are slippery. We started to put 4-6 rubber bands to make it work- but that just looks ugly- . Also it has a feature that when you turn it to much to the right to close, it opens it again with a different flow. If you do not pay attention you may never close it and the water just flows till you notice it . Now I am thinking about just yanking it out and put in one that has a normal handle. I even wrote to the company to ask what they'd suggest for this problem, but got no answer. Frustrated ! ... show more

I had to return this sink because the neck of the faucet broke when the plumber went to install it. There was only a small plastic adapter holding it on. Other than that it was a beautiful sink. I was very disappointed. Be prepared to return or buy a different faucet for it.
