I’m a homeowner and part time maintenance worker. I purchased the spraymate without a battery, I have a large amount of Dewalt 20volt tools with 5 AMH batteries. I was interested in the Dewalt sprayer, but was disappointed with reviews, found this brand with very good reviews and competitive price. I had a 4 gallon lever pump sprayer and always cussed tripping around the lever getting in my way especially when storing in my pickup and a wand that wouldn’t stay in its holder, cheap straps. I am very pleased with the spraymate healthy straps, ample pad for your middle back, easily found switch with gloves on, sprays farther and wider than my old pump sprayer which means getting the job done quicker. When cleaning it’s easy to lock the nozzle open and just let the pump do the clean out for 3-4 minutes, I ran 4 gallons through and it didn’t touch the battery life (5 AMH) easy peasy!

Have not used it yet. Assembly without any instructions... NOT INCLUDED! ANY person with "common sense" should be able to put together! Then what I missed were "do's and don'ts"! This is: Most important before using a product like this there are definite parameters for proper functioning!!! The battery adaptor for my RYOBE 20V/ 5AH works perfectly! Tested this sprayer with about 1 quart of water in it.... worked perfectly! After many, many years hauling along 1/2/3 gallon hand-pump sprayers this has been a kind of "epiphany"! I was worried that with less volume of liquid in the tank would not work as well as a full 3 gallons... Sometimes I need only 1/2-1 gallon of liquid to spray... other times the full 3 gallons and more... Have not tried out the other spray nozzles. The already attached nozzle was only a fine, 360 spray. I find that an adjustable nozzle between fine spray and nearly stream spray to be the most practical and efficient! My only criticism so far is the lack of information for proper use of this sprayer!!!

Got the model with the DeWalt/Milwaukee battery adapter, used it twice so far spraying weeds. Assembly was quick although getting the battery door in place is a little tricky, hinge pin was hard to get in place and was deforming the tabs to the point where the lug material discolored from the stress of bending. Used a pick tool to coax the pin in to place under the lugs and seems to be holding. 6 Ah DeWalt battery is too large and won't let the door close but 2 and 4 Ah fit fine. Some notes: 1. Shoulder straps are comfortable but waist strap would be a nice to hold a full sprayer more securely on your back. 2. Lots of pressure! Could be too much in tight places. 3. The lid is also the carrying handle, I would prefer a second hand grip in the tank mold between the shoulder straps. 4. Hand lever and spray wand appear to be really good quality. Wand is carbon fiber, not the flimsy/floppy vinyl tube found on many sprayers. Overall I'm quite happy with the unit so far, hopefully it will last for many years.

Originally I was going to buy a DeWalt 20V sprayer but after seeing the price on this and the compatability with DeWalt batteries I had to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The first day I had it I sprayed 2 full tanks of herbicide around the property. A job that would normally take a few hours using 1 gallon pump sprayers took under an hour. The spray is strong and consistent. The battery adapter works great, and assembly is easy. The unit overall even when full is relatively light. Also, I pumped 2 tanks through on one 5ah DeWalt battery and it was still showing full charge when I was done. The only complaint I have is the straps do seem to want to loosen up a bit when putting it on and when walking around for extended periods....but that's minor and easy to fix. I like this so much I'm considering getting one for my father and father in law for Father's day!

I chose the "Milwaukee Battery" option to power the sprayer and have used the sprayed three times since purchased. The provided battery adaptor fits perfectly with the Milwaukee tool battery and provides more than sufficient power for the spray application. I encountered NO complaints with whole ordering and delivery process including the set of shoulder straps and attachment instructions. I used the sprayer for controlling weeds using Roundup Concentrate. The gallon markings on the sprayer tank are noticeable, but immensely improved when the water in the tank providing a contrast against the white tank. I also noticed that when I filled the tank to the 4 gallon level, that one should be prepared to counter-balance oneself as that extra weight on your back can be difficult to manage when one is walking or down a slope or stepping over a ground object in your walking path. Overall the sprayer works great, easy fill with water/chemicals and comfortable on your back with ease of reaching the on/off button on the left side bottom of the tank.

This worked great the first two times I used it, went to use it again and won't turn on, and it's not the batteries. Don't know if the battery converter is no longer functional or whether the unit itself, either way did not get my money's worth out of this unit.
