Ok, here's the grips: The remote control connection is a 3 wire type. If you are replacing a remote from badlands, you need 4or 5 wires depending on the agem I had to take the old plug out drill out the new box, fill in the old screw holes and redrill the mounting bolts. But other than that everything is of good quality and the kit with the cables is a deal it would have cost me much more to buy the wire and put connectors on... The box is good. This is advertised to fit all winches within a specified weight rating. IT DOES NOT! While the box casing was the same dimensions, EVERY internal component had to be moved over item for item from the old box casing.

Had a small problem with a few missing parts. Sent an email describing my problem and seller took care of it right away! Install is a bit time consuming so follow the directions closely or better yet take your camera and get a handful of pictures as to where everything goes. The pictures are a great teacher! If all the parts were included I’d be giving this product a good review. However, it was missing one of the cord restraints(seal off) and any screws for securing the relay (6mm x 1.00).
