I should have bought THIS first! After damaging my ceiling buying one of those belt conveyer type ceiling mounts, I searched until I found this beauty. Unlike the other type IT CAN'T get a belt jam. So you don't have to continually uninstall and reinstall the hardware. Once it's set up, it's set up. I will admit the instructions are unclear for basic t.v setups, instead only showing how to set up with specialty T.Vs, however if you ALREADY know how to do it, or like me have prior mounting holes that EXACTLY match up with this model, then setup will be a breeze. Otherwise I suggest checking if there are online walkthroughs for setup if you're not confident in your own DIY skills, before buying. Besides the instructions snafu, this is truly a 10/10 as of current.

Love this mount. Don’t lose the remote control. Then again my fault for living in a place that they don’t ship. Two weeks ago I had to have a friend in another state order the remote and when it arrives she will ship to me. I have this out on my patio. Everyone loves it. It has been stuck on the ceiling for a month.

This is working out perfectly for us. It's installed on a covered balcony in our apartment where we have a 50 inch tv mounted. It's has been used frequently and working as expected. Great value. The installation was not hard but it did take some time and does require a second person. It's heavy so proper installation is important. Make sure you are mounting it correctly so it is secure.

This mount doesn't work with a 65in or 70in TV. I finally got to install this mount this week and after getting it where I wanted and secured, I went to hang the TV and it will not fit. I adjusted the mount on the back of the TV to the lowest possible setting and the TV will not fit. The screws that came with the mount are not very long so I would suggest getting longer screws to give it a better grip as well. My mount was going into drywall so I engineered a block system in my roof to hold the weight of the mount across my roof rafters to give the screws a solid mounting surface. Overall, if I had a smaller TV this mount would be perfect. If the mount could swivel a small amount left or right to give a better viewing angle that would be nice as well.
