The tunnel and the hideout are definitely meant for kittens. Our 🐈⬛ Is on the smaller side and even she barely fits on the perch. The ladder was off on the angle so I had to improvise and change the angle myself. I can't say whether it was easy to put together or not, because I am not good at putting these things together, but my neighbor put it together for us and she thought it was fairly simple. Our kitten loves to sit on it and look out the window. It is the perfect height for our home because we are in a basement apartment and it has the top perch right at the window. She also enjoys sleeping there and sleeping in some of the other cubby holes in it. She has already batted the hanging ball right off of it and she enjoys chasing it around the house. It is perfect for her except that the round part she steps onto off of the top perch wobbles when she steps on it. We set a chair in front of it so she can leap up on it from the chair.
