I have a small 12x8 office room that I run a 3D printer and some computer stuff in. It was driving me crazy how unorganized everything looked. I got this because it was $30 cheaper than what I found at Walmart at the time and liked the color. Turned out pretty nice and fit everything I wanted to put on it. A rubber mallet made putting it together way easier, the hard part was the center cross rails but nothing a pair of pliers and a flat head can't solve. Flexing the tabs did cause the paint to flake but thats to be expected. Once complete, its was super sturdy. My bed slinger printer sends small vibrations through it but I'm not worried its going to fall apart or cause a print failure while its working. My only concern actually is the MDF panels used for the shelfs. Its a little thin, and the center rail doesnt come up to match the height of the main rails (its about 1/8 of an inch lower). Because of this, the shelf actually dips in the middle (only to rest on that center support so its not a major concern). A solution to this would be to add a spacer. A small 1/8in or 1/4in strip of wood of the same material on the center rail would fix it. Overall I'm pretty happy with it, and it should last a while assuming those panels hold up and don't get wet. It should be easy enough to cut some replacement panels too later on.

To my surprise, this rack is easy to set up without any screws. The only thing I have put effort into is to hummer each layer to make it stable - by using my fist-hummer to avoid damaging it! The design still has space to improve, but the product is suitable for garage storage.

This is larger than I anticipated. The kit does give the option of a two piece version. I painted the shelves prior to assembling because I was expecting them to have a finish, they do not, just looks like pressed cardboard. You could also use a shelf paper, But they look good after painting. Assembly wasn't difficult and technically doesn't require tools but you can use a rubber mallet and flat head screw driver to aide in assembly. The look is more of a garage/pantry or basement storage asthetic. But it's not horrible if you want a storage / display area. The materials are very light but does seem very sturdy after assembly.

I needed something to replace a cheap wooden book shelf that got moldy in my basement. Metal is the way to go in a basement! I’ve put together a lot of shelves like this, my basement is full of them. This is the first time I’ve bought one that is this small and this lightweight. The metal is kind of flimsy but the construction is solid. The cross braces in the shelves really make a difference for strength. You need to go slowly, especially at first, because the braces will pop out as you set the other braces. You DEFINITELY need a rubber mallet to put this together, no way around it. Work slowly, pound lightly, and once you have the first two shelves set you can pound the braces in more. You’ll also need a flat head screwdriver to bend the tabs of the cross braces once they’re in place. The directions show this step but you might miss it. Also be sure to leave the bottom holes open to raise the bottom shelf a bit. If you’re putting this in a basement or garage you want that airflow. Bonus for the company for including some decent work gloves for putting this together! Never saw that before! They fit my big hands which is cool. And they are good for keeping your hands safe from the sharp metal. I’m very happy with this shelf, especially for the price. While it doesn’t have the airflow of a wire shelf it will be more sturdy, and is a little cheaper than a similarly sized wire shelf.

Better than I anticipated. A bit difficult to build by myself but was able to do it. Suggest measuring the heights you want for the shelves if you want specifics. It's not easy to change them. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.
