It's a great product. Was able to see the heat signature of a fox hiding in the bushes behind my tent. I missed the fox with my night vision goggles. I wish that the display would turn off when it is away from your eye. And the power light is a bright green and easy to see in the dark if you wanted to be stealthily. Other than that I have no other complaints. The viewfinder is bright and clear, controls are easy to use. There's a hundred different ways to use thermal imaging. This monocular is light weight and very well built. Please add a neck strap. Also this high quality thermal imaging monocular deserves a better case to protect it between uses. Still gets 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. THIS THING IS EPIC. I was able to spot a tiny little rat in a field in the middle of the night from about 50 yards away. I was able to sneak up on him at about 3 yards to get a clear identification and video (I slowed down the vid to 1/2 speed). I really love the bird watching mode, it's great for catching small thermal signatures. Plenty of storage for video and pics, connecting to the app is super easy, and great image quality for the price and smooth frame rate for fluid animal tracking. Great product!

Is a very good thermal monocular for a good price. Works just like it says can be used day or night. I have a lot of fun watching deer walking through the woods behind my house in pitch dark, I could even pick up birds roosting in my rhododendron bush at night. Would recommend it to others

I got the pro model (blue). It’s amazing for general wildlife viewing and yes, birding at sunrise when birds are active but hard to find. Haven’t used it hunting but wouldn’t hesitate to. I’ll start with the bad… not that anything is actually bad. This may be more of a constructive criticism for the company if they ever make a version 2. 1. The rubber end caps can come off more easily than I hoped they would but it’s easy to be aware of when pulling out of the tight holster. If it is ever an issue there are easy solutions I can do myself. 2. It’s blue. I actually like the blue but a coyote color or something earthy may be better for the fashionistas that think they’re tacticool. I can see Topdon losing sales on the pro for that reason alone. 3. A dedicated video switch and zoom in/out instead of cycling the zoom may be nice for future versions. But the current simplicity of buttons is also nice. The GREAT 1. Intuitive and easy functions 2. Image clarity is excellent and exceeds other thermals I’ve tried that claim to have the same resolution (at a distance > 10ft) but not everyone is going to need the higher resolution. 3. App is extremely useful and a pleasure to use 4. Feels like a solid and durable build 5. Almost no lag time when viewing compared to many others 6. Good tactile feel overall and easy to use the buttons in the dark without looking. 7. Ambidextrous layout 8. Subtle blue color that doesn’t make you look tacticool 😉 Some reviews made me think the app wouldn’t be good but I disagree. It’s excellent for remote viewing. A cheap remote control pan/tilt mount on a tripod (found a few on Amazon) will make this unbeatable for nighttime viewing wildlife in my yard while inside or at a campsite while hiding in a tent. I’ll take it up the road to Rocky Mountain National Park tonight for a more involved test on animal identification at distances but after many hours of use in my yard and the adjacent national forest I’m already sold. This is excellent. If your local fire department or SAR team doesn’t have thermal already, buy them one. This could be a game changer especially in the mountains or desert at night. If Topdon made an inexpensive thermal rifle scope I would get one without hesitation. Are you reading this Topdon?

Pretty darn awesome. Have tried several versions of this type item and this is the first one to deliver exceptable results. Rugged, easy to use, as much clarity as you would expect. If you want to know what is in the dark, this is the tool that gets it done. 4 of 5. Needs a built in hand strap to make it easier to hold.

For anyone thats seen some of my reviews you know i love everything night vision. I just got the Top Don thermal monocular. This thermal high definition and infrared camera is absolutely cool. With its waterproof design it already has my vote there. Anything i buy , i buy waterproof where i can. That coupled with the eleven hour battery life is such a bonus. It comes with a small case, but I'll get a molle case for it. T also comes with a USB C charging cable and small carry strap. The TS004 has a tripod base to make viewing comfortable, the diopter knob has a quality feel to it, and has the correct amount of resistance. That ensures no sudden bump will change the settings. The power button is green, so at night I'll put some tape over it . The camera , zoom and mode buttons are self explanatory. The fit and finish are excellent, i really like the colors too the OD green gives it that military look. The eye relief is pleasant to the eye and quite comfortable. The modes are very defined when looking at warmer objects. The white hot and black hot are my favorite, due to having been in the older M60 tanks, that were retro fitted with thermal vision. The fusion looks pretty cool as well. The red hot and bird watching modes are great too. There is also an app to use in conjunction with the device. The USB cord can be used to connect to a PC to download your saved pictures or videos. For this price point it sure does a lot. All in all I'm absolutely ecstatic about my purchase. I can't wait to get on some trails to use it. Who knows i might capture proof of Bigfoot 😊

YESSSSSS!! this is such an amazing product! If you’re a hunter or just someone who loves this type of technology like me. It’s so much fun. And the price point is amazing for what it does. The thermal is TOP NOTCH!! I was actually blown away when I saw my entire heat signature from where I was sitting on the couch. And when I saw my dogs paw prints light up on my kitchen floor. I even saw the studs behind my walls in my house!! Which was nuts!! But the company said due to the different heat transfer. It is definitely possible to see the studs behind your walls. Overall fantastic fantastic product highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed
