Got it before the price hike
Style: Catfish Pro - New Model
Got this for $159.99 Oct 2025. Couldn't pass it up for that price. Looking like it's going for $310 now, which is craziness... The reel is great, though. I now have 3 Abu 6500 pro rockets and I'm glad I picked them up before the prices started going nuts.

Cheap look
Style: Catfish Pro - New Model
Disappointed because the reel comes in a loose box, and it was a very cheap presentation. We ordered a Kast King for our daughter and its appearance and packaging was 100x nicer.

Excellent quality and gorgeous
Style: Catfish Pro - New Model
Very nice reel for the price and they are still made in Sweden unlike other series. I bought two and they both perform flawlessly. The only con is it’s difficult to adjust the brake with fat fingers.

My favorite round reel.
Style: Catfish Pro - New Model
I love this one. The breaks took me a few trips to dial in. Once I got her dialed in she quickly became my favorite out of my abu round reels. Just like any Swedish made abu, highly recommend this one. 👌
