I used this for my elderly mother for about a month and had it always inside a duvet. She likes heavy blankets. Recently I went to clean the duvet and upon opening, thousands of micro beads spilled out! I looked all over the blanket and could not find a noticeable rip, but these beads are so tiny I can see it easily slipping through some stitching over time. I wish I could return this but it’s been just over 30 days. Another issue is this thick plastic barrier makes it unbreathable. My mother started to develop a sour smell on her, and I realized it was from sweating at night in this blanket. Yuck! I am throwing this thing out.

I don't know anything about "the benefits" of a weighted blanket, just my spouse and I prefer to pile blankets on the bed to achieve a certain feel and weight and this blanket does that job without using 2-3 blankets. Plus, it weighs more than those would anyway. My *complaint* is that the 60x80 is too short on the sides for a Queen size bed. It is long enough to overlap the bottom of the bed, but does not hang over the sides at all, so it required putting it on a blanket that is on top of a flat sheet, so you wouldn't have to just stare at a sheet on the sides of the bed. Otherwise, it would make a great comforter all on its own. It's more of a topper. But I can see why some have said it "slides off".... That's literally because that small amount that hangs off the end of the bed... Even though that part isn't even the weight of the blanket, it's enough for that to occur. It seems like if it hung off the sides of the bed, as well as the bottom, there may be less sliding, but maybe it would just slide everywhere then. I don't know. But if you have a Queen size bed, you *could* experiment with getting a King Size one and see how that works, if you're looking to replace your comforter entirely. 🤷🏼♂️ Otherwise, we think it's great... But just could be bigger for the size of the bed.

It feels awesome, the blanket itself is pretty soft, but I will be getting a cover for it, just so I can clean it easier. Personally, I like to fold mine over, and it feels like the weight of the led blankets you wear at the dentist during x-rays. Which was the goal! Yay! You definitely won’t want more than 20lbs. My first two nights with it, it did affect my dreams, a little bit ( I think maybe because I was stuck in one place while sleeping?), and was difficult to move the blanket when I would be half awake trying to get up. But it’s really not too hard to manage.(I’m not weak, it’s just a weird to go to whip off a blanket when ur half dreaming, and it doesn’t magically fold over haha) I will update us if the beads fall out, that was my issue with my previous blanket, from a different brand.

I suffer from anxiety, but also chronic conditions that cause a great deal of pain. This weighted blanket has been an incredible addition to my care kit on my harder days. I've had weighted blankets in the past that felt like they didn't breath, so I would either get sweaty fast or it felt like a huge hard lump and was difficult to move around. This is not the case with this one. The weight is distributed well and the material is well airated. Even my dogs love laying under it with me. This is the 5th weighted blanket i've had and tried, and this one will be my last. 10/10 recommend.

Great, sturdy blanket . Not too heavy, good quality. Have not tried washing it though. I got queen, you may want to get a king. My queen barely covers the bed. But it is meant to stay on top of other blankets, so not sure it is necessary to cover the whole bed. True to color. Very comfy and not constricting
