Description

The Stora Way Plus XL Tool Box is the perfect solution for storing large garden tools and equipment. Its maximum capacity of 1270L allows you to comfortably store deckchairs, lawnmowers and many other objects distributed in 145 cm long, 85 cm wide and 124.5 cm high. The attractive wood-effect panels in contrasting grey and black ensure this shed a home in any garden. Opening is made easy thanks to the presence of pistons and the padlock hole offers the possibility to close everything safely (padlock not supplied). Its structure is robust and the floor is integrated. It is made from recycled and recyclable plastic (polypropylene), water and UV resistant. This was EASY to assemble, with simple instructions which obviously kept America’s functional illiteracy in mind. The pieces are fairly obvious as to placement and function for those who can comprehend both “L” and “R” directionals, but also “1st” and “2nd” as progressive steps in assembly. Most parts needed no fasteners, and the supply of fasteners was ample, again showing compassion for the average American’s innate ability to lose 3 out of every ten screws, washers, bolts or lock-nuts in any given assembly kit. This particular unit was painted in order to blend in with the opinions of the 327 Karens who comprise the local HOA, or, Hoard of A$$es. (Hint: spray paint would stick better to this than latex house paint, but spray-painting the house to match would A: cost a fortune and B: REALLY launch the HOA Karens into full-scale warfare, so I took the least expensive option. ) One last note: the UPS delivery driver and the recycle guy will be just as polite as Hannibal Lechter, perhaps not without good reason, as the container is roughly the size of a small Buick. ... show more

Shed went together easily. Instruction diagrams were easy to follow. The shed does not have a rigid back. It has 2-2piece posts that slide down onto nubs molded to and protruding from the bottom of the floor. Between these posts and the side walls, a total of three flimsy panels slide into channels to form the back wall. We were disappointed in that feature. Our shed is backed up against a wooden fence so I guess it will be ok in that location. If I had know about the flimsy back wall material, I would probably looked at a different shed. I was looking for a storage bin for outdoors, and thought I did my research really good. Not!!! I failed at my attempt. Now, I am writing a True and Honest review of this product. I am SO Disappointed with the ending quality of this product. You would think that spending approx. 250.00 for a product, the Quality would be precise!! The overall product is good, but then they use cardboard, Yes CARDBOARD for the back panels!!!!! All the panels for the rest of the storage bin are hard good quality plastic, like you would expect. Why they end up using cardboard for the back is something I just don't understand. Why not use the same product as the rest of the bin? Why not use something that is more durable? CARDBOARD?????? OMG!!! There is no stability in these panels, their flimsy just like cheap cardboard can be. Once they get wet, they will fall apart!! I sure wish I could send this back but sad to say, everything is unpacked and the box is gone. When we unpacked this, we thought the 3 cardboards were to protect the pieces from banging against each other. Some companies do that. (and if your wondering why we unpacked it and got rid of the box.... we had to as the box was very big. it was unpacked outside and we couldn't put it together right away but had no room for the huge box. Once I sat down and looked at the directions, that is when I realized it was actually for the whole process of putting the storage bin together). Was it so expensive for the company to use a thinner plastic instead of cardboard? But I would think that for the price, the whole product would have been made out of the same nice durable hard plastic. I like the bin, color is nice, side door is nice, the other pieces are of good quality (except those cardboards pieces). I'm sure someone who is handy and knowledgeable could mimic those 3 pieces into something more durable. And anyone can/could break into this bin as the back is just cardboard To the company who made this product, shame on you!!!!! There should be a huge Red flag on your product that the back panels are CARDBOARD!!! The price should also be lowered to approx. 85.00 for the overall quality of this product. Your making a huge profit off us people who work hard for our money. So, for those of you looking to purchase this product, be aware of the biggest flaw of this product, CARDBOARD!! Who would ever think someone would use cardboard in an outside product!!! To the company, I would like approx. 200.00 of my money back.... but we know that won't happen!!!!!!! The media could not be loaded. We paid $296 for a storage container to store seven folding tables in a pavilion. When the box arrived I took it out to the pavilion and unpacked the contents. Assembly was very easy, until I realized that the back panel of the container was missing. I sorted through the packing materials, and saw three flimsy pieces of black corrugated plastic that I had tossed to the side, thinking they were just packing. Nope. They were to be inserted into narrow channels formed by two flimsy posts. The cardboard shipping box was almost twice as thick as the panels. After a minute of unprintable expletives, I realized that I should have read the reviews first. I learned this was the reason there were so many one star reviews, several commenting on the manufacturer's unwillingness to accept returns. I found a piece of 3/4" plywood large enough to cover the back, cut it to fit, and attached it to the back with about 30 drywall screws. I caulked the seams because the container will be stored near the back of the pavilion which is exposed to rain and snow. Thankfully I live in a smaller community, and was not expecting to lock the box. As one reviewer stated, it wouldn't stop his eight year old son from breaking into it. I think that a strong gust of wind would be enough. Save yourself the trouble, and buy something else. This is a cheap piece of CRAP!! ... show more

It hasn't rained yet so I don't know about it being weather proof but it was very easy to assemble. I love that I have a place to store my garbage now so the animals don't get into it.

Storage bin arrived with some broken parts but still usuable. Return would have cost more than purchase price so I kept it. Slightly undersized for trash bins but can force it shut. Be sure to measure trash bins accurately.

It was extremely easy to put together. It was exactly as advertised. It’s sturdy and well built. We got what we paid for. We have our RV generator along with two small gas tanks stored in it.
