I've had this boom arm for about 5 months and have used it regularly. Two weeks ago, I was in the middle of a call and all of a sudden my mic fell and the arm wouldn't hold anymore. I've emailed them about this and haven't heard back in 7 days also...

Decent quality, very clean look and seemed to handle the weight of my mic (Blue Sonos) easily. However, the internal spring is a steel cable and the soldering job holding its ends in place wasn't great. It let go after about 10 months, and my mic hit the desk - not great. Now the arm can't even hold itself up, much less my mic. I'm hopeful that this is an individual flaw - I have another one that's still doing fine. However, at least one other review mentions the exact same problem I had. Buy with caution. EDIT: The manufacturer reached out and offered to replace my mic arms - good customer service and they're standing behind their product - I can respect that. I'm hopeful that the new arms will last.

I had the Yeti caster and sold it before my move from Hawaii. Needed another boon arm and got this one for way less money. Same quality as the Yeti caster and works great with the Blue microphone.

As someone who has a small boom arm this upgraded one was WAY too big for my desk. This arm is not really for gaming and everyday use in my opinion, moreover for podcasts and shows.

It appears that this company has taken customer feedback and applied it to make a much better product. Although most reviews here are positive, there are several that point out some flaws. I was very surprised with the product and it's level of quality. It was well packaged, beautiful in design, and is very solid. You can easily set the tightness of the pivot points so that you can pull in the mic easily and push it away or adjust its location with ease and without having to adjust the tighteners. The cable management is great as well. Great buy for the price.

Upon trying to attach my microphone to the boom arm and screwing it in, the plastic attaching the male threaded adapter broke and the whole thing fell off. Unfortunately I either have to super glue it back together or return it. Hopefully Donner would consider sending me a replacement part for the piece that broke. I'm hoping this was just a faulty one off the production line. Overall build quality of the arm itself seems very sturdy. ***UPDATE*** I contacted customer support. They sent me a new one and it works great. I didn't even have to return the old one. Now that's prioritizing the customer!

Beware of this product. I woke up this morning and it looks like the internal mechanism gave out. I rarely used this arm for nothing more than business calls to hold my mic. The elbow pieces were all over the desk floor and the cap was across the room. Glad I wasn’t sitting next to it when this happened would have probably been a bad situation.
