Gosh, when you use your spiffy hoist system with the Muxlor hardware, you can enjoy 5600 lbs of lifting capacity per bracket! The typical hoist provides four such locations. So there's that there. When you use your hoist, lifting chain, engine load leveler, sling, or whichever MacGyver contraption you craft to attach onto your DIY project, you will have more than enough load capacity. You gotta watch that capacity there — I don't know what your hoist can handle. Mine can only do 4,400 pounds. You got your ease of assebly there too. All you do is use the clips. If you can handle a carabiner, the Muxlor will be second nature for you. Well, gosh, if we accept the stated 5,600 pounds capacity / each bracket, we can estimate a total capacity of 22,400 pounds. That is assuming the ability to reliably distribute the weight evenly across all four clippy holder thingies. I like the KISS approach, so I'm ok proposing 56 hundred as total capacity, which is way more than enough for my typical DIY project, by golly. Well, jeez there, when you pull the trigger and purchase the Muxlor, Build Quality, Design, Ease Of Use, Functionality, Lifting Security, Value For The Money, and Versatility can and may be yours in spades for your next project. I used these to lift a 5.7 Hemi from a 2013 Ram 1500. I used only 2x brackets, bolted them onto the cylinder heads using 1" Grade 10 bolts to allow them to swivel a bit. I easily clipped the carabiners onto the brackets and was able to fasten a 3 ft span of chain between them. The angle of the brackets, combined with the easy to use carabiners, allowed me to pull the engine and manipulate it onto a dolly without having to remove the intake manifold or any other commonly removed accessories. Once I had the engine lifted by the hoist. When I reinstalled the motor, I tightened the brackets to make sure they would be ready to go in the future. Absolutely love them! I'm looking forward to using these to help manipulate transmissions and rear differentials in my shop. The carabiner safety gate is a breeze to screw shut with one hand and the polished surface cleans up readily and always looks great. This is a very well thought out product with an incredible weight capacity that will safely work on all engines from small air cooled 4 cylinders to monster big blocks. The brackets are attractive and I am leaving them on the engine for future maintenance tasks. I am going to mount the 2x extra brackets on the wall studs in the corner of my shop and hang a hammock from them for some post-wrenching relaxing!

I really appreciate this product because the ease of use and functionality. I decide to purchase this product because the fasteners are separate. I will be lifting the engine often to work on it and needed a quick connect and disconnect system. I am more than satisfied with the purchase. The manufacturing is also top notch. These worked great and looked good doing it while pulling my small black Chevy. The brackets have a great fit and finish, and if you’re a hot rodder who pulls your engine out often, you’ll be happy to leave them in place. Hardcore jewelry. The carabiners make it very easy to connect and reconnect when adjusting your lift chains. However one of mine did bend, I thought I was diligent to screw the lock sleeves in place, but it is possible I didn’t that one time. So now there are three. I would like to see replacements offered since I am not likely to shell out for another complete set.

This bad boys work great can pick up serious heavy loads with out bending or deformation they work great on engines pretty much what ever u want to use them on if u can get bolted to it, it will pull it, lets be reasonable u wont pick a car they are very well made strongly recommend them for engines that i know they work great.
