At first I was intimidated by the instructions being the first time using one of these. After a few minutes of assembly it was very common sense based. Painted 800 sq. ft. ceiling and it cleaned up very nicely. Very nice sprayer.

I hate painting. Either my wife does it, or I hire someone. I've never used a paint sprayer before and honestly had NO idea what I was doing before tacking a project with this sprayer. I am also notorious for not reading ALL the instructions before doing something that I have no business doing. Even with all these liabilities, I was able to paint the exterior of a 10x12 shed that I built and it came out BEAUTIFULLY! I was so impressed with how easy this unit was to set up and start painting; the printed instructions are EXCELLENT and very clear, and there are also videos that walk you through all the tricky parts. Once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. One thing I really appreciated was that the instructions are geared towards a total beginner, even giving tips on how to get a good spray pattern and how to have good technique. I used it on some fairly thick latex exterior paint without any thinning and it sprayed beautifully. It took a bit of tweaking to get the pressure right (I was getting an uneven fan pattern and then sometimes it was spitting). The nozzle is super easy to unclog and the unit itself is very compact and light weight. I will say that the setup and cleanup is a fair bit of work, and there is a fair bit of waste that you end up flushing out when you clean it, so unless you have a project that is going to use AT LEAST a gallon of paint, you may be better off with one of those cup-type sprayers that looks like a hair dryer. I did find that the sprayer hose was pretty stiff and I needed to be very careful about pulling it around because it overpowers the weight of the sprayer unit itself and could cause a disaster, but luckily I didn't spazz out and make a mess. Overall I was SUPER impressed with this sprayer and will look forward to using it again on a project!

This painter has it all! It appears to be well-constructed and the parts and pieces are heavy and solid. The instructions are detailed and go into setup, adjustment, use and most importantly, cleaning in good depth. I found it easy to use and get adjusted for proper paint application. The range of nozzles was good as well, providing the ability to use a number of different types of paint and stain. It's fairly involved to use, so for smaller jobs I would expect to use a smaller gravity feed sprayer, but if you have large areas to cover, like painting a house or garage, this is perfect.

I have used several paint sprayers through out the years. I was glad to finally get one of my own. This paint sprayer seems really well built and solid. I don't see any reason at this point workmanship or otherwise why it wouldn't last for a very long time over many uses. I really liked the pressure adjustment knob. I have had several without this feature. It was nice that I could turn down the overall pressure especially for spraying indoors, or even when spraying around the ground outside. If using a paint that will allow it I like this to keep the plastic from ripping and tearing at the edges or kicking up dust and dirt or overspray. I will turn down the pressure, spray the ends, then crank it and finish the job. I have seen reviews about this clogging. I can say that clogging is a part of the game with airless sprayers. This is why it is made so easy to clear the clog. Just flip the nozzle and spray and then your back in business. Every sprayer I have ever used has had a clog or two while doing a job. Easy to break down and clean. Great instructions, comes with wrenches. If you keep this clean and maintained you will have this for a very long time.

I got this as a replacement for another paint sprayer that ended up being terrible. I have a graco that has been having problems so I needed to get a replacement, and the replacement brand I tried was nothing but problems. I like the compact size of this sprayer. The design makes it easy to carry around and store. It was much easier to clean than my other sprayer. It says no thinning required but I always thin my paint anyway. It worked great for painting a shed.

Easy to use, but clogs often with regular paint. I thinned it as instructed, but still clogged a few times. It’s nice that it’s compact so I can move it from room to room though.

I found this airless paint sprayer extremely easy to use for painting my basement ceiling. Everything from setup to cleanup is well documented in the provided instructions, and I didn't have any issues while spraying other than a handful of clogs that were easily cleared. The results are fantastic, and I'm really glad I did it myself. This sprayer makes about as much noise as a portable inflator. The 3000 PSI it generates is more than enough pressure to push paint through the gun, producing a fine mist fan spray without requiring any thinning of the paint. I used PPG SPEEDHIDE Interior Latex Dry-Fog paint - the spray tip that is provided with the gun is size 515 (10" fan width, 0.015" orifice dia.) which is the smallest size recommended for this paint (check your paint's TDS), and it worked beautifully. The gun's spray tip and filter are also common with other sprayer mfgs. and are easily swapped out.

I got this to paint a bunch of interior doors and it worked great for that purpose. I am not experienced with sprayers and found this easy to use.
