I don't use it often, perhaps once a month or so, but it is holding up well and does a good job slicing meat. I will periodically buy a ham or large roast and slice it up for sandwiches. This slicer does that job admirably. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I think they could have done a little better job when designing it to make it easier to clean.

This machine is not worth the money. Upon starting the meat slicer, the motor smelled like a dumpster fire, before even putting any load on it. When we did finally attempt to slice some cheese, it didn't sound like it would make it through. The blade spun VERY slowly to begin with, and sounded like it would fall apart at any moment. Not to mention, this machine left some black residue on the cheese after slicing it. The ONLY positive about this product, is the ease of taking it apart for cleaning. Suffice to say, we went for a different slicer. We prefer to put money into a product that will last. This one isn't a question of "if" it will break, but WHEN! Also, when I took it apart, I found that it had plastic drive gears, in conjunction with a metal worm drive for a motor. I understand trying to make a cheaper option for folks..... but that's not the way to do it. If you want a product that will last, spend some more money ($250-300), and get a product that won't fall apart on you after just a few uses and burn your house down. If you're happy with just a few uses before throwing it in the trash, then go ahead and find something cheaper than this one. Not worth the money All in all, would never recommend this product. The ✌️"Toogood"✌️ brand is.... well..... not good. At all

First off, no offence to other reviewers. , though this product is as described!! Its.a.home use slicer! Ifyour.looking. for.commercial power. A home use.isn't it!! We have used the heck.out of this.just this.week.alone sliced up 15# turkey breast,#15 pounds of ham, 10# bologna,20# ham, 15# provolone,15# cheddar,hard salami,pepperoni,12 American cheese, just in a short time.we have also.sliced.steaks.! Breads, fruits and vegetables!!! It's amazing quiet!! Ease of use and clean-up!! Plenty of power. One thing with commercial Smaller. Slicer have to.pay attention to is not.to over use dont try to.do.it all the.same.day! Especially on a home.slicer .they are not.made for.constant direct use! Our.only.con about This.slicer from.the.seller is.that.it.was to.come.with a food plate.tray.which it.didn't! We appreciate. This.slicer. and frankly. We were glad we didn't listen to the nay Sayers! Life is about making things easier not harder especially at our ages!! We also.appreciate the cost we.paid! Very fair! This product Isn't junk like some say! Give it.a try Remember that with everything there. Is.a.learning. curve!! You'll get cuts as well have a slicer bog.down ,when you don't over load it with heavy weighted products! The media could not be loaded. Performs satisfactorily and does what I need. Using it to slice venison for jerky. The item holder (hand protector) works well but will fall off when the tray is tipped up to clean or whatever. Instructions state it should not be run for more than 10 mins at a time. Definitely not industrial grade. Virtually everything is plastic except the blade but works well. I would question how long it will actually last. The size is pretty compact and it is lightweight.
