I've been using laser engravers for a couple of years now. I'm really enjoying the ease of this machine. I really like their app as well. Yes, I have and use LightBurn, but for a basic cut or engrave I'm using the Toocaa app. The air purifier was shipped with a damaged corner. It works great and the company sent me a package of acrylics for my disappointment. The customer service is "spot on". I like working with people like that. I hope to add the 40 watt module when I can. Who knows, may they will send me a demo one. The laser comes mostly assembled, but you have to put the enclosure together. It was pretty straight forward and didn't take but about 30 minutes. I thought one of the power adapters was missing and they were quick to explain where it was in the shipping package. They agreed that it was in a strange place to ship and were going to chage the location. If you haven't noticed already, I really like this machine.

If you’re running a desktop laser cutter, this honeycomb bed is one of those upgrades you’ll wish you bought sooner. It’s sturdy, fits my workspace perfectly, and really helps with airflow—smoke dissipates quickly so the burns are much cleaner. The aluminum panel underneath is easy to wipe down and feels tough enough to handle heavy use. I’ve used it for everything from 1/8" plywood to leather, and so far, it’s handled the heat and mess without any warping. My only gripe is it can get a bit loud if you’re running a high-powered fan underneath, but honestly, the improvement in cut quality is worth it, and the price is right for this size.

This is a very well-manufactured honeycomb bed. The aluminum cuts look very clean and there are no dents, dings, burrs, etc. anywhere that I can find. The border makes the bed very stable and I like that it's matte black. I also like that they included the protective bottom plate to avoid inadvertent damage to the work table. Overall, this is a nice laser bed.

This is a really good honeycomb laser work table. Here's what I like about it: First, the size is what i typically look for (400 x 400mm or ~15 3/4 by 15 3/4in). Next, the frame around the table is fairly small. This is good and leaves more room left to work on. Another good quality with this table is how the honeycomb strips are laid. This table has a fairly tight pack. But loose enough to allow the laser beam to to punch through. Some models I've seen (from less than stellar sellers) actually short-change the bed with up to 6 or more strips. You might think that isn't so bad, but it causes two things. First, it makes the honeycomb much larger and next, if you think about it, if the seller short-changes each table, how many leftover tables can be made if you send an order every month for 1,000 units? I didn't count the number of strips in the unit I picked up and have no reason to do such a thing. Everything comes pre-assembled which is nice. Finally, I like that it comes with a plate to protect the table or whatever your laser is projecting on. What about things with this item that aren't quite that good? If I was in charge of the "wants" department at this company, I probably would've wanted to see a ruler silkscreened on the frame. It looks good and some folks might actually use things like that. Myself, I just line it up in the video feed. 😂🤣 Hope this helps!

I ordered this to use in conjunction with my laser, which I previously just used on a wooden block surface. I couldn't be happier with the improvement using this aluminium honeycomb product. No more laser burn around the edges or underneath, and I swear the edges are even smoother than before. Heat dissipation is fantastic and it's great to no longer have to constantly move and reposition the laser on the old wood surface. For the price this is an outstanding value and a tremendous upgrade for anyone who isn't already using something like this.

If you have a laser engraver/cutter (and they're getting cheaper and cheaper all the time, so I'd encourage you to consider adding one to your workshop or garage) you really NEED this item to unlock the full potential. If you don't have this sort of honeycomb backing behind your material, you can (and will) burn into whatever is below your laser. The consequence is that you constantly have to add a sacrificial base of MDF of other wood, and deal with the overburn by replacing it periodically. While this doesn't completely eliminate the need for a sacrificial base, it means that you don't have to replace it almost ever, because it raises your work material above the focal point of the laser, significantly cutting back (almost to zero) the damage that your base will experience. It also helps with ventilation and making sure that your work item doesn't slide around. It's a solid accessory, one that all laser cutters should default come with and you should add as the first accessory.
