I was really hesitant to purchase these microphones because we have always used vocopros that usually cost us $600 or above. After reading the reviews and giving myself a week to think about it...I figured, can't hurt. We use these for karaoke and they were super easy to set up with our mixer and they sound as good as our vocopro microphones. When unpacking, the product is plastic, very compact and lightweight and doesn't seem as well made as the vocopro, but perform astonishingly super. We actually like how lightweight & compact the microphone control box is manufactured and the batteries lasted about 4 hours in the microphones. The display shows the low battery status, and batteries are easy to change. There is a volume control hidden inside the microphone and a frequency change button that is also hidden inside the microphone. Only issue we had was feedback if all 4 microphones are on and they are too close together (that happens with most mics). I really feel no one would be dissappointed in the purchase of this product. We really are impressed and feel these are definitely worth buying

I received a last-minute booking requiring 4 handheld mics. Although I have Sennheiser plug-on transmitters, I was looking for a uniform mics set with a single AC base receiver. This extremely inexpensive system was the only set that would ship in time. Since I arrived hours before leaving, I literally unboxed it at the event. After plugging in the base, inserting 2 AA batteries in each of the 4 mics, and the on/off button on on each mic, they worked perfectly! No interference or noise across a large auditorium. I'm NOT suggesting that this set is equal in quality to a top-end set but they did the job!

I bought this to go along with my Apple TV for the ultimate karaoke setup. I’ve used it a goood 10 times and the battery life in the mikes are about half way which is great. The setup was pretty easy and the directions were direct and easy to real. I really liked the quality of the microphones and anyone that uses it asked me where I got it. This is my first set so I am not sure if it compares to others that are the same price.

I have read dozens of reviews about the sound quality of these mics in comparison to higher quality units (SHURE, etc.) I don't see it, or rather hear it. Yes, they are functional mics and they work well, but I definitely do not think that they produce the sound quality that several others have touted. These are great for "disposable" mics, like say a karaoke show, where drunk idiots would likely destroy your higher end mics. The problem is that they pick up A LOT of feedback. I adjust my sound meticulously during a karaoke show, and when someone sings solo, these work fine. When the song is a duet or trio (or quartet in rare occasion), they are impossible to balance. Too low and you can't hear the singer. Too high and the mics produce a wicked feedback loop. Even the most attentive of sound engineers would struggle with this. The mics are also not labelled or color-coded, so once you've handed off the mics, it's tricky to know WHO"S mic levels you're adjusting. This can be solved with microphone covers and colored/labelled tape on your receiver, but what a pain! The last beef is that the volume dials do not have any markings, no lines to delineate the volume level. As such, you have to rely purely on output, rather than setting your volume to "6" or "11 o'clock" on the dial. I find myself constantly fumbling with the wheel to try and balance the sound output. Real world problems, you know. Overall, you can't beat the price for an all-inclusive four microphone pack. The fact that each line can have it's own output (XLR) or all four can be sent to your sound board through a single 1/4" jack is nice, but there are far too many issues with the pickups, lack of identifying marks and deficiency in volume markings to rate these higher.
