  • Works Great
Color: Black
I got a Focusrite bundle from another retailer and it came with a great condenser mic (CM25), which is not exactly lightweight. I was a little worried that the arm wouldnn't be able to hold the mic, but it holds it in any position I set.

  • Excellent quality, brilliant design!
Color: Black
This low profile boom arm is just what I needed! I have a very small desk so space is at a premium, and this arm has av primary arm that's fixed to swivel at a low profile, and a secondary arm that fully articulates. It's like this was made for me and my setup. Absolutely excellent quality, easy to install, and works beautifully. I highly recommend this excellent product! ... show more

  • A good solid choice for podcasting, voice input, etc.
Color: Black
This is an great boom arm and I'm very impressed with the value. The movement of the arm is super smooth and the assembly took less than a couple minutes. I do wish there was control over the horizontal movement at the joints, only because I wanted to place the clamp sideways and control the boom arm vertically. I can't do that because the tension knobs only secure the individual moving arms from falling out, but not from moving. This Is sort of a niche placement, so I don't fault the product too hard, but I do believe that it should at least be an option. Having said that, I think this is a excellent beginner boom arm For the vast majority of people out there and I can't wait to make billions with it. Maybe millions. K, just some spare change, I think is probably a good goal to start. Whatever your end goal is, I think you'll be happy with this boom arm! ... show more

I recently purchased the TONOR T40LP Microphone Boom Arm for my home office setup and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This low profile mic arm is perfect for streaming, gaming, podcasting, or any kind of recording. The design is sleek and doesn't obstruct my view at all, which is a big plus. The sturdy metal construction ensures stability and durability, and I love that the bottom clamp has a large contact area for smooth arm movement. I also really appreciate the rotatable and adjustable features of this mic arm. With 360-degree horizontal rotation and 90-degree vertical adjustment, I can easily position my microphone exactly where I need it. Plus, the cable management system with included cable ties keeps my desk tidy and organized. Overall, this mic boom arm is high quality, versatile, and compatible with any microphone. • Robust Microphone Arm
Color: Black
This Tonor Microphone Boom Arm is very solid. It is constructed from thick metal parts. One of my photos shows the clamp. Not exciting, except the frame is very thick, which means it won’t flex and work itself loose. The parts that fit the table, desk, or bench are well padded. The post that supports the arm is welded into a socket rather than surface-welded, which is more common. That’s a lot about a clamp, but the thoroughness carries through the whole assembly. You can snap a finger against the arm parts and hear solidity. The scissor arm is stiff—right at the edge of difficult. That’s good; my microphone won’t sag. The pivots are very smooth. Although both pivots have locking screws, I’ll keep mine loose. One photo shows my arm stashed off to the side, where it will live most of its life. Swinging the arm into place and raising the scissor is very smooth. Then there is the microphone mount. An aluminum post with an aluminum adapter screwed to the end. It's not much of a mount, and I’m nervous about stripping or cross-threading an aluminum screw. But I slept on it and think that that is the best choice that Tonor made for mounting a microphone. Those of us who want some other sort of mount are going to use a third-party mount, no matter what is included in the boom package. Not shown in my photos is the sleeve mount included for those kinds of microphones. Again, basic, but will do the job. This mount includes a second screw adapter. In this case, it is made from engineering plastic. I mounted a microphone which includes a pivoting yoke. It was easy to position the microphone exactly where and how I wanted. Yes, if I banged it, it would move because of the loose pivots. But I doubt that I will bang it regularly! This is an excellent microphone arm/boom. If you’ve read the reviews this far, you should put this on your “must-have” list. ... show more

  • Good Mic stand
Color: Black
I needed a new mic stand for my desk this did the trick. I have a fairly heavy microphone and it does a good job holding it.

  • Pretty nice!
Color: Black
Honestly for the price this has some really stand out features. I think most notably I would compare this to the Elgato low profile arm. This has about the same length exceeding theirs by .1 inch. So bonus there. Even if it is such a small length. More is more! But this one only supports 3.3 pounds and that's much lower than the competition. Also, this has hidden springs like what you would find on a very high end arm typically. So that's definitely a nice look. Helps sound from springs as well as making it more aesthetically pleasing. I really actually like this for what it is. Keep in mind that you pay for what you get. This I would say is even priced correctly in my eyes. Any cheaper and you get the basic cheap arm sold everywhere with visible springs and those wear out quickly. I feel like this is probably the best arm for the price. I can't say how it handles longevity. But as it stands brand new it's really nice. Keep in mind it is low profile. I prefer overhead. But just note the difference if you are new to these products. ... show more
