Mine lasted for around 3/4 days before it had a noticeable sag due to the mic being front heavy. There is a piece of metal going into the desk mount that seems very loose and is not held in by any sort of bolt. I’m using the Tonor Mic Arm Desk Mount in conjunction with my Rhode PodMic USB. I have it situated on my desk so the first part of the arm can swing underneath my monitor shelf. The height of it is perfect, the first arm is about 4” off the desk and my shelf has 5” of clearance. The mic can reach to all of the places I need it and the lower angle ensures the microphone is not sitting in front of my camera and blocking any more of my face that it has to. The Rhode PodMic USB weighs about 2lbs. The tonor Mic arm is rated for 3.3 lbs. Having had my microphone sitting on this arm a week or so, the first arm of it has started to sag and the end of it is sitting about 1” lower than when I set it up. The low-profile design makes this Mic Arm a game-changer. It moves and extends to different positions, giving an unobstructed view and a clean workspace. The sleek look also adds an appearance of professionalism to my setup. You can conduct your interview and make eye contact with the opposite person. The product's overall construction and the paint's quality are good. Keep in mind that this is budget-friendly. The metal body and robust spring design can handle heavy microphones. The bottom clamp offers solid support and a good contact area, keeping your mic secure. This highly adjustable mic arm is the best feature, even for a budget-friendly solution. Once clamped, the arm can swing 360 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically. I had complete control over how the microphone was positioned. It does not matter if you are recording yourself or have guests. This boom mic adapts without a problem to any desk size. You can adjust it from custom angles or enhance your overall recording experience. Another appreciated feature is cable management; the T20LP comes with some cable ties that simplify my workforce while being able to use it. No more dangling or tangled electronic cables. Again, this adds a professional look. The Tenor also comes with adapters and screws that will accommodate many microphone sizes and branks. You will not be limited to a specific size. Since I have been using this for some time, I found a feature I'm not keen on. To get a good hold of the different joints of the rig, you must overtighten.
