So, I should preface this review by disclosing that I have a more advanced setup of box lighting and camera for filming for YouTube. But I also create content on TikTok and was looking for a good setup when filming straight from my phone. While there are a lot of phone tripods and ring lights out there, this one seemed to be the best value, packaging everything you need in one box. And wouldn't you know it, as soon as I started filming with this setup, I got comments about my camera quality and video quality. Of course, I was still filming on my Pixel 5, except this time I was using this product. I would absolutely recommend this product for anyone who needs an easy setup to give you great light for Photography or iPhone video light. The ability to film straight from the phone but with more production quality has drastically changed how I create content on TikTok and perhaps soon on YouTube as well.

Overall I’d highly recommend this product for those looking for a ring light that are on a budget. This is such a great price for the purpose. Here are a few areas for my review: Setup: plug and play setup. Extremely easy to put together and didn’t have any trouble. Options: the ring light allows you to choose a base color (soft white, soft yellow, bright fluorescent) and adjust the brightness. It gets the job done. Quality: this is the only area I’d suggest being cautious of. The stand and light are pretty lightweight (mostly plastic). The phone attachment is nice, but I often felt like bending it into position might break the ring light itself. Just need to be careful when adjusting and you’re good to go. Price: best price you’ll find for what you get. I replaced my $100 soft box lights (two of them) with this one light and won’t go back. This light saved me so much space as well. Uses: I use this light in conjunction with my DSLR camera as a full time Twitch/YouTube content creator and love what it does for the price. Great product for the price!

The media could not be loaded. When it comes to perfect lighting! anywhere! this ring light is excellent for work calls , I love how simple it is to set up and the brightness of it, I also love the fact that it comes with its tripod for easy use in front of my PC or with my phone placed in the middle of it, very convenient! the bluetooth remote control shooter makes it really awesome for then we need to change the light intensity by being far from it, great 12 inch selfie ring light!

This dimmable ring light features 3 color modes (cold, warm, natural), and each mode has 10 brightness levels. Inside the high-quality lightboard, there are 160 high-quality LED bulbs that have a 20,000H life span. Color temperature ranges from 2700K-6500K. The included upgraded Tripod stand has 4 retractable sections to adjust its height from 16" to 52". Upon opening up the stand, I noticed that it's lightweight but very sturdy and super easy to adjust. I really appreciate the fact that you can pull it up an additional 12" if you want to stand when recording a video. The ring light is really easy to screw onto the stand and I was up and running in no time. The included phone holder and Bluetooth remote shutter are nice additions to the package and very convenient. Just power up your phone and find it in Bluetooth settings. To get set up and recording, just screw the plate onto the ring light and put it in the tripod holder. Plug the cord into a USB slot on your PC/Laptop or you can just use a power brick into an outlet. I like the convenience of that as well because if I'm plugged into my laptop, the remote is right there for easy adjustment of mode or brightness. My setup involves a DSLR camera on a separate stand, but you can position the light in any way you want regardless. Phone users will really enjoy the easy, compact, hassle-free set-up. Just screw on the adapter and adjust to taste. The base of the light can be adjusted freely as well. What I like most about this light is that it doesn't take up too much space. Softboxes tend to be quite bulky and because I live in an apartment, the ring light is a nice compromise. I can move it around very freely and get a nice angle without having to worry too much about knocking crap over and looking like an idiot. It's also incredibly easy to operate. I was off to the races within about 5 minutes. Tonor specifies this light for use with Zoom Conferences, TikTok, YouTube, Makeup, and Photography. I found the light to be really powerful as well. My DSLR camera body is quite dated and doesn't do well at night recording video (even with decent lighting), but I was really pleased to find that this light from Tonor really provides a crisp image of my face. Because of this, I will be recording at night more often as I can get a really warm shot with an interesting background. What's really cool is that I can record 2 angles at once if I want. It really does make me want to invest in a phone with better video quality (something I may actually do in the near future). Are there any negatives to speak of? There was really only one minor nitpick, and that is I wish they had made the phone holder lock when you pull it out. There should be some sort of button/locking mechanism like you'd get with a car holder. As it stands (Haha! No pun intended), I have to kind of pull it out and put my phone in at the same time which is a bit of a hassle. It does clamp the phone tight, so that's a plus. Is it worth buying? Absolutely. For around $50 it's a great value considering everything you're getting in the package. This light is extremely versatile, easy to set up, and incredibly powerful. The 10 brightness levels for each mode ensure you can get an almost perfect shot even before you take the video to post-production. If you're like me and get lots of comments on your videos like "Amazing content but work on your lighting" this is a fantastic investment.

For a low cost, amateur option, I've been very happy with this ring light. It works great both indoors and out, and the versatility of the height options for the stand have come in very handy. I've used this for indoor and outdoor video (it's a little shaky when windy, but it didn't blow over), as well as an additional front light source for photos taken in my light box. I found the remote to be very easy to use and handy for ending videos on time (less editing), and enduring the phone was steady for photos (no vibration from touching the screen to snap the photo). The levels of light are great to ensure you're not washing out your subject, and the tinting offers options for warm or cool tones as well. Could it be more substantial? Sure, but then it would be heavier, and that's less convenient for me, so I'm fine with the lighter weight. The carrying case for the stand is thin, but enough. I do wish the light ring could fit in a case with the stand, as that has to be packed separately. But again, for the price, I'm happy with my purchase.
