The price of this cover is the reason I believe it deserves 5 stars. After a significant amount of comparison shopping and reading reviews, I felt that no covers (even the $800+ competitors) were without their faults. I settled on this model because of it's price was almost half of that of the more popular competitors. The cover is a pretty basic design, hard fold with a vinyl cover over the top. 2 plastic clamps in the front of the the bed, two plastic clamps in the rear of the bed. As others have commented, the plastic clamps are not the greatest. But this is very much a get what you pay for situation. They are strong enough to hold the cover down, and that's all I was really concerned with. Total install time took me about 20 minutes and needed only a screw driver. I ran into a common issue others have had (and really should be in the instructions). When I first closed the cover, I noticed a large gap at the top of the tailgate (around 3/4"). It looked poor and was large enough for someone to get their fingers underneath and pry it open. After some fiddling, I noticed that the rail position which holds the clamps in is adjustable. There is one screw on each end that needs to be removed to allow the rail to slide. I adjusted the rail position to be as far back towards the tailgate as possible (about 6 inches from it's factory location). After doing this, the cover closed much tighter over the tailgate, the gap is now minimal and the cover holds down tight. Overall, the cover looks good, and sits flat. The stitching quality of the cover is meh, but again this review needs to be within the context of the price of the cover. It arrived clean and undamaged. There is no noticeable noise or movement from the cover while driving. For those who are looking for a hard cover due to the added security, remember that no hard cover will permanently keep a thief out of your truck bed. This cover can easily be lifted / damaged with a pry bar as can its more expensive competitors. Couple with a locking tailgate, the cover is really just good at keeping honest people honest. You can't lift it at will or cut it with a knife like a snap or velcro soft cover, but that's about the extent of it's increased security. It's good for keeping your golf clubs in the back while you stop at the store on the way home from the course, not so good for keeping valuables in overnight in an unlit parking lot. ... show more

Ok, my cheap self bought this as a Amazon warehouse deal bc I saved like $40. For our 2017 Sierra with a bed liner. I was skeptical. But it came packaged in the original box w all the parts and in perfect shape. It was super easy to install, like less then 15 mins. On our trip it rained and nothing in the bed got wet. It really looks nice and solid too, much better than the roll-up ones thats get saggy over time. Also, we picked up hardwood flooring the next weekend and it was very easy to fold back and strap down. I would recommend both the warehouse and this item. ... show more

Took a chance on this cover for my 2015 Sierra, since I didn't want to spend $400 on one at the local shop. My intention was to use it only when I needed to, but I have actually kept it on unless I put a large objects in my bed. I have to say, I am very impressed with the quality of this cover. Below, I will break down the various components; Installation; I definitely recommend watching the videos. The kit comes with a ton of extra parts depending on what you need and can get a bit confusing. It took about 30 minutes with 2 people. Fit; It fits almost perfect. It has a little gap near the tailgate which allows some water in, hence the 4 stars. Deployment / Storage; When you first get it, it will probably be a pain to put on and take off for the first few times. Once it stretches out, it becomes very easy. After a while, you will have to make minimal adjustments for tightness when unrolling it. I'm particularly impressed with how pliable it is in the winter months, which is a common complaint with these types of covers. Overall, I think this is a great purchase for the price. One of the greatest things I noticed is I drove through pouring rain from CT to SC with the bed full of luggage. It kept everything dry. It also cut down on my fuel consumption. I usually use 3 tanks of gas during that trip, and I only used 2, which amazed me. Also, the included supplies are pretty cool too! Hope this helps! ... show more

I've been really happy with this bed cover on my 2015 Silverado. I have had it installed for a year now, and it has held up great. I live in an area where I don't have to worry about security, so I decided to get a rollup so that I would have maximum use of my bed space without having to remove anything, and it's come in really handy. I would rather someone just pull up on the velcro to see whats in my bed, than to try and pry something apart and ruin my cover. I don't keep my tools in my truck though. At this price point, all of the tri-fold style covers, still take up about a third of your bed space when opened due to their design, where this takes up maybe 1/8th of your space, if that. I can open and close this in 30 seconds either way, and since it's not a work truck, it doesn't get opened more than once a week so it's never really a problem. I like the low profile look - it looks clean on my truck. Installation takes an hour or two, if you are particular like I am. I took my time and made sure everything was done perfectly so I am sure it can be done quicker. Nothing is permanent and it required nothing but basic hand tools (socket wrench, wrench, etc.). It does flap/wave a little when on the highway (even when pulled tight) but it doesn't make any noise so it doesn't bother me. I have never had any issues with this coming open on me or anything like that. The kicker for me was that on the silverado, I wanted to retain access to the hand holes on the top of the bed side rails, for pulling yourself up into the truck, which this cover allows. ... show more
