The shade fits perfectly and fairly easy to install—no tools needed is a big plus. It appears to be sturdy, not cheaply made. Material is of good quality. This top/down shade did not cost me a fortune compared to other brands. Some daylight seeps through very tiny gaps around the edges but not enough to bother my late morning sleep. Good buy imho.

Wow. I didn't know how much I needed these. I have a studio apartment with large, east-facing windows. The have aluminum casings, so I figured I couldn't get anything inside mount because I can't drill into it. When I moved into the place, I got roller blinds from Ikea that worked pretty well, but they did not have light-blocking, they were just light filtering. I mounted them on the outside, and was pretty satisfied. But my heating and cooling was a lot more expensive than I thought it needed to be. I started looking for light filtering films that I could put on my windows, and as I was doing research, I found these tension-mounted blinds. I read a lot of good reviews of both the blinds and the company's communication, so I decided to take the plunge. I have four tall, narrow windows, 72" tall and about 32" wide. One of them is split into two, with a fixed top portion and a side-opening portion. I measured all five window openings and sent them to the company. The company confirmed the measurements and started making them. Exactly two weeks later, I received the blinds, well packed and ready to install. Installing them was really easy, considering I was on a pretty tall ladder. It took me maybe 30 minutes to get them all up. They are all sized well, and look great! For now, I've also left up the roller shades, and I'm using them in combo to get some light in while also cutting the glare. It's hard to be impartial, but I do think my AC has been working less today to keep the temperature down. And I definitely notice that there's less hot spots in my place. It's a much more even temperature throughout the place. I'm so, so impressed with these. The top down function is a game-changer for me, too. There are apartments across the way, kind of far away, but I love being able to let in light while keeping my privacy. Just a couple of things that I think could be improved. Since the decorative sliding part that hides the tension screw is just a touch larger than the rest of the mount, I wish they had another one on the other side, both to balance the look, and also to make it easier to mount it exactly level to the window sill. Two of them are just a touch off because I couldn't get it perfectly aligned. It in no way impairs it's function, and I'm sure I'm the only one that will ever notice, but it would be a really nice extra touch. And I wish they just included a draw rod with the purchase. I thought I'd added one, but I guess I didn't. I have the Ikea one, but it's designed such that in only pulls down, but can't push back up. I modified it to work, and I'm buying a better one, but it would have been nice if there had just been one in the package. This is only my first day with them, so I'll come back if any issues crop up.

This is the perfect blind and just what I was looking for to block the sun on a front bedroom window. Great quality, very easy to install with no screws or holes to drill. It literally took about 15 minutes to unpack and install. Could not be happier with this purchase.

We needed something to provide privacy in our new shower. We didn’t want to block the window all the time. We shower mainly when it is dark outside so we wanted to avoid the shadows. These say they are not water resistant but we thought we’d give them a try. Well, the water just beads up and doesn’t soak in. They aren’t in direct line of water so they don’t get very wet with each shower. They were very easy to install. With the shower window we didn’t want to screw anything in. These fit perfectly. The top and bottom rail are solid, well made. And, I love that when they are open they have a fairly low profile. Not bulky and ugly. I especially love that I can pull them down halfway and still have privacy, but also a beautiful view or sunlight shining in on me. We have the blackout version and you can’t see a thing when it is dark outside and all the lights are on. No shadows, nothing. We even shone a flashlight up against it and couldn’t see it at all. I absolutely love these and would purchase again!

Quality product. Exactly as described and so very easy to install. Sturdy construction. Fits snugly and does not move when opening from bottom or top. Perfect privacy for large primary bathroom window. Perfect room darkening. Opens from top and bottom easily. I plan to buy several more.

This blind installs so easy, what's not to like, light blocking, no cords to get all tangled up, plus can mount in the middle of the window or a foot down from top, change your mind and move it. The blinds move easily and are level, no saggy baggy on one end, stays put, looks great. W O W, measure side to side top to bottom, that's it...done!
