Sturdy, reinforced sides/edges. My 14" MacBook Pro (2023) fits perfectly even with a slender, protective case on it. The case is well made. You might be able to slide a thin file folder or legal pad in with the computer, but not much more. The outside pocket is perfect for small accessories and your charger along with an Apple Pencil. Would work well inside a larger messenger bag/brief case/tote for traveling.

I like the bag - its light - bot bulky - and works great for my M2 macbook Pro. The only thing I wish the pocket to fit ur accessories- (Dongle - ssd drive - cords - power block mouse ect ) - if it was a tiny but larger - to actually accommodate the pcs (( not even saying over load it but the 96watt charger barley fits and definitely stretches it … but in the end - for someone that doesn’t need to get a hard case to really protect it - i give it a thumbs up
