    • Excellent Case with a small issue
Starting this review off I would like to touch on the positives of this case. The included charging hole is nice as you can keep it in the case when it is charging which is my biggest risk with the steamdeck as I tend to knock it off my desk constantly when its plugged in by getting caught on the cord. The sturdiness makes me feel like it is 100% protecting my steamdeck, and the fact that the case is so sleek makes it really easy to toss into bags. Now on to the one negative. It fits the steamdeck nearly perfect when its stock, but if you have ANY custom back buttons that come out even a bit more than the steamdeck then you will not be able to use this case. I had to remove my JSAUX RGB Backplate so that this would fit which was a pretty big negative (if I kept the original back buttons with the backplate this wouldn't be an issue which is why it only partially affected my review.) ... show more

I love this little case! I primarily use my Steamdeck at home and I feel this case is much quicker to use as compared to the official one it comes with. Along with its sturdiness it also protects against short falls, small amounts of liquids, and items hitting the deck. Worth its cost, and if it does ever break, I'll probably buy one again ... show more

This is a review for the tomtoc Armor Case for Steam Deck/OLED, Steam Deck Hard Shell, Protective Case, Hard Portable Travel Carry Case, Shock-proof, Anti-scratch, with Military Grade Protection, Steam Deck Protective Cover: The case is a great upgrade to those who want to travel with a steamdeck with protection, but would like a case that doesn't eat up as much space. It's super form-fitted to the SteamDeck, meaning you'll be ok if you just have a screen protector or minor joycon addons, but additional skins or rear mounted-accessory things will definitely put you out of spec. That being said, the case is SOLID, and I enjoy the ability to charge the steamdeck in the case with the hole. For me, it's perfect, as the deck usually travels in a bag or the like for shock absorption, so really I just need something to protect the deck from the other things in the bag! ... show more
