My grandfather was a beautician. His sheers used to feel like these do. Very high quality, come razor sharp. They look great too. Case is nice, though the elastic band would be better leather, and built to accomadate the tension adjust. My wife is a trained barber and now gives me all my haircuts. This replaced an old pair that she had that despite being sharpened, were not doing a good job (they really were not sharp). Recommend these scissors very highly.

I’m a hairstylist of 38 years. My old shears needed sharpening and I’m retired so I just bought an inexpensive pair. These are perfectly adequate for cutting my family hair now. They may need the be sharpened more often than my better quality shears but I’m very satisfied with these for the cost. I would use these in my business if I was still working. Update: I was cutting my daughters hair and next thing I knew (I was styling it out after cut) I found my shears on the floor. They had gotten knocked off of my counter. I’m so disappointed as they got a bad knick in them. So bad that they won’t cut anymore. All the years I’ve been cutting hair, I’ve never had a pair of shears get damaged just from a drop.
