As a barber i see 75$ pairs of shears and yeah they are good but somewhat expensive. Of course you pay for what you get. With that being said, these are some of the best, most affordable scissors you can get. Definitley recommend🤝🏼🤝🏼

I am really pleased with the quality of this. I ordered it thinking it would be temporary until we could get something nicer. First it comes in a zippered case that opens like a book. The scissors have a nice weight to them and cut nicely. Someone more knowledgeable would probably know what the other pieces were but we mostly used the scissors and comb. I am not a professional stylist, just someone who tries to give my partner a nice haircut. I have been using moderately priced ‘professional hairstyling scissors’ up to now, and this set is a HUGE upgrade in both quality, and variety of tools. Although we are not due for a haircut for a few weeks, I can give some preliminary impressions after a few snips. I will update this review, if needed, after using them for a full haircut. LIKES: I have big hands, and even though the finger holes are much smaller than my previous shears, they actually feel MUCH better. The ergonomics are great, and I feel that I have much better control of the shears. They are impressively sharp, and cut the hair with real precision. The heft, polish, and finish of all the tools is really satisfying. I love the extra tools that are provided. I’ve been wanting to try 'Thinning Shears' to control some waves that plague me, so I am excited that this kit includes them. It also includes a ‘Hair Thinning Knife,’ which also feels very good in the hand. I truly have no idea how to use it yet, but Google is my friend ;-) Even the included ‘Hair Clip’ is very nicely made, with a double row of teeth to hold the hair in place perfectly. I look forward to trying this with the wedge-cut I do, for even better precision. It includes two apparently identical basic shears. I think I will hold one in reserve, so I have a fallback in pristine condition if I have to sharpen the first one. The storage case holds the entire kit nicely, if you don’t include the extra shears, which I’ll store separately. ISSUES: No problems of any significance, but one thing to note. The blades are tightened with a fastener I haven’t seen before. I don’t know if it is proprietary, or common in the beauty trade. Whatever the case, the kit comes with an appropriate tightening tool, which is very appreciated. I just wish there was a secure place in the case to store it so it doesn’t get lost. CONCLUSION: I REALLY like this kit. It is beautifully made, well described in the listing, and very satisfying to use. There are tools included that are beyond my current skill level, but I look forward to learning about them and trying them out. GREAT SET...Easy 5-stars from me! ... show more

The WENSHALL 6.89 PROFESSIONAL HAIR CUTTING/ BARBER SCISSORS KIT is a mash up of several tools for cutting hair. There are 2 pairs of regular scissors that seem to be good quality and are probably the best reason to buy the kit. If you don’t need the rest of the items, or like me, don’t even know how to use them, you may be able to find quality scissors for less. The case this comes with was clearly not intended to hold all the items that come in the kit. It is way too small. The items were all jammed into the zippered case. Though the items were in separate plastic sleeves, the sleeves looked like they had been exposed to too much heart. When I unzipped the case for the first time, the overall impression was that it was a jumbled unorganized mess. Clearly making a great first impression was not important to the seller. By contrast, the same day this arrived I also received a less expensive dog grooming kit that was beautifully presented, with cut-to-size foam to hold everything in place. Presentation matters and the details matter. If this kit is truly intended for professionals, you will need a different method for storing and accessing the items in it, IF you don’t want to look both disorganized AND unprofessional. The scissors are very sharp and there is a tool for tightening down the screw that holds the blades together. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing, or even why the scissors come apart. Maybe it is for easier sharpening?? The scissors easily cut through hair. When I gave them to my husband to try, he couldn’t use them at all, because his fingers won’t fit through the holes. At least he won’t be using and dulling my hair scissors to cut things they are not intended for. In fact he he is unable to use these scissors to cut anything at all, not even hair. ... show more
