It came with a razor comb thing that I used to trim my own bangs, it worked excellent. I trimmed my 5 yo hair with the sheers and it’s honestly the best hair cut she’s had. **pat myself on the back** That was a few month ago and it still looks great. I’m very happy with this product. I bought this set to cut my godson's hair. We didn't want to get anything too expensive since we didn't really know what we were doing, so this set was perfect. The scissors are sharp and provided a variety of tools. The cape is very thin and seems a bit cheap, but you get what you pay for.

The shears are fine for my intended use, which is occasional trims for my kids and around my goldendoodle's eyes. I haven't had them long enough to speak on the longevity of the sharpness (yes they are sharp). The one thing I have to say is the quality of everything else that came with the shears is not good. I bought these solely because of the shears themselves so the rest is whatever but if it matters to you then buy something else. The cape is so shear that it will never keep hair from getting through (see picture). The combs and razor comb is so flimsy I can almost bend them in half. Like I said I bought this for the shears and I already have good quality capes, combs and razors so that doesn't matter to me but beware if it does make a difference to you ... show more

I have a teen who likes the idea of changing up their look and maintaining healthy hair. Usually it's cutting the bangs .or trimming dead ends /split ends, conditioning treatments etc . . . Recently changing the color has been attractive, so I got this kit to give them the tools to tweak their look.

Very attractive set and comes with a lot of helpful tools, however after just two uses the shears have become dull and are not cutting hair correctly, you just kind of get what you pay for here.
