sharp, shorter than most shears so they're lighter in weight and less likely to give you those infamous cuts if you have smaller hands like I do. they're amazing quality for the money, and they cut hair like a charm. they're also smooth so they're easy to use. 100% ready to maintain these bad boys for awhile. only got a star off because the purple sheen kinda comes off? i don't necessarily care but it does make me question the longevity of the shears themselves.

Very nice scissor set. I love that they're smaller in size. It's hard to find sets smaller than 6.5 inches. And like that the finger rests can be removed. I've been a hairdresser/ educator for 37 years and have tried many brands much more expensive and am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this set to use at home. I'm not a trained barber, but the cutting implements cut, and cut well. Combs kinda flimsy, but that isn't what I bought it for. 10/10, mentally ill at home stylist approved.

The scissors are plenty sharp, as evidenced by the bandaid on my finger, but the blades are not tight together, making for an uneven cut that sometimes folds hair rather than cutting it (my hair is too fine for this gap, and it is indicative of a poor quality product). I was really surprised to see such good reviews. Left the ends of my hair looking frayed. It's my own fault, I knew they were too cheap. Same (maybe even worse) with the thinning shears. The razor worked great tho! They ARE pretty, so if you just need them to look nice, they do that. But if you want them to function well, I recommend another brand and spending a bit more.
