UPDATE: Great Scissors and Customer Service: I am back to using them for my fine hairs. I don't cut clumps of hair, this tool still does that quite well as I don't use it that way. But I do trim a few hairs at a time, or the edges of short hairs in a line. I essential use the last 3/4" of the tip, and now when I am doing two or three hairs at a time, they just didn't seem to get all the hairs in the micro-end of tip clipping. So I am not unhappy to buy a $79 pair of scissors, and I did see that you could tighten them before I bought them, but I didn't feel like buying the $160. They are used daily and kept in their little case. Final comment: Whatever on my picky stuff, the scissors are easy to use, fit my hands perfectly and do the job, and cut my head hair very very well.

I don't generally do reviews, but i've been a professional hairdresser for 18 years and when I started, shears were very expensive and i've it's been paying twenty five dollars every year to have the few shears i have sharpened and when I found these, I did not expect to like them, but I absolutely love them. And their professional quality, I would recommend them to anyone in the industry! I have cuts on my knuckle to prove their quality haha

Great shears! Very sharp! I will say, the blades do in fact over lay and you can feel the sharp side of the blade of both sides when closed, kind of dangerous and inconvenient. Aside from that the price point and product is nice!
