The face mask really attaches well and is not coming off in a crash. It’s really lightweight my girl loves it honestly. No complaints of discomfort and it is adjustable my 3 year old uses it. And when I put it on and adjust the twist on the back to snug it up it doesn’t shake loosely. This is a great helmet. Our son is 2 and it’s fully adjustable and fits him well. You can adjust the size with a dial on the back of the helmet. It’s light weight and he wears it all the time. Much safer than a regular helmet. Little kids fall all the time and they hit their face, not the top of their head.

This is a great helmet for kids. My son recently got into BMX biking and I wanted to get him something that protected not only his head but his face as well incase he fell face first while doing tricks etc. This helmet feels pretty sturdy and solid built. He likes the look and feel of it as well. Doesn't complain about being too tight/loose. Fits just right.

Great helmet. I purchased one for my 3 year old and one for my 6 year old grandsons. They are very light and when adjusted work great for both. I love the full wrap around so their faces are protected. At first they were a little tight to put on, but now they are used to it and have no problems. Very happy with the purchase.

The face portion of the helmet just slides out/off the main helmet and it feels pretty cheap for what it is supposed to do. Additionally I got this for my 5 year old and even with all the padding it’s too big. If you’re looking to protect your kids heads, I’d recommend going name brand rather than risk it. |~~~~~~~~<~~~~~~~~~~~~~<| After some great customer service, the issue has been resolved. I have an updated helmet and it fits my 5yr old and the face portion is more secure (clicking in) giving the helmet an overall sturdier feel. I think it will get the job done.

Bought this helmet for my four year old who recently started bmx racing. We’ve been using this since April and today he crashed during a race. He was fine however after he got back up I noticed one side of the chin guard napped off. After examining the helmet both sides were in the unlocked position even though I locked them when he first started using it. I wasn’t checking the locks so if you buy this helmet I would say the lock button slides into unlocked position so you have to be aware of that. Other than that it’s a super lightweight breathable helmet that he likes to wear. I don’t think I’ll be buying a detachable chin guard helmet again.
